Well so far ive not been too noisy on thread because i have work and i didnt see much point in joining in the spam.

I don't think there has been all that much spam. Okay, now back to work.

I doubt we'll get a lynch but accourding to Tapper day 1 of his ToD game there shouldn't be one but there should have been a lot more pressure on players than their was. This game can't go like the last ToD game. This one actually requires you to take out the competition by force ie, lynching. Though I think a fair number are probably thinking that they can probably do it at night.

Alright, I'm caught up.

I'm intrigued by the discussion of the lynch mod-killed players and no lynch. Frankly, I'm of the lean no-lynch because I ain't got a clue who is in my faction and with 3 Mod-kills set I'm not ready to randomly add to that. Secondly, those who want to lynch players who are going to get mod killed.... perhaps they need to be on lynch trains for some reason for abilities or something? Otherwise, it honest to god makes no sense to me.

The case on Fener began with Meta. Interesting to see how it proceeds.

By the by, this is when I'm going to be here every day, so you'll be without me for long periods of time.

Did it not begin with someone accusing him of being in the Northern Desert and creating the slaver camp? Which then snow-balled into him being Qadi or something.

I think I was criticizing him for him claiming that there was no point in him paying attention to the thread before that.

Eh, I guess it could be classified as more using his statement against him + the other randomness as other asides to generally throw suspicions in that corner. Sorry, I was reading through fast as I saw we were going to be close to timing out.

Edit: x-post

So has day timed out? I just finished reading the whole thread. The biggest standout to me is the lack of activity on the Bazaar. In previous games, we had lack of posting on thread because the Bazaar was so active, but now we have both the thread and the Bazaar fairly quiet... Not sure what to make of that.

Osseric still hasn't posted and I agree with the logic that voting for someone who will be modkilled shortly has little downside. And since he has a couple votes already -

Vote Osseric

I should be around until timeout, unless day's timed out already. WTB update.

Day timed out an hour ago. We have a no-lynch situation.

-----------------<official explanation by the Khalif>--------------------

The weeks crept by, and we were well on our way into september, the month of sand storms. Travel became harder, and travellers themselves were hardly safe either. In and around Madeena, conspirators scanned the horizons for the plumes of dust that would signal the arrival of allies, but few came. The Nepeth were massing, hundreds of thousands of builders, administrators, farmers and townsfolk accompanied by tens of thousands of soldiers, some adventurous souls seeking to leave before the main groups started their march. The Clan of the Golden Standard was rumoured to halt its conquests in the lands of the Francs, a tumen already returning across the endless steppes. Caravans arrived sporadically, each with a less than full complement of wagons and guards, speaking of ancient horrors and robbers stalking the roads. A large fire broke out in the Quarter of the Coin, destroying a warehouse filled with fine silks. The owner of the warehouse pressed charges against a rival, speaking of sabotage, but my magic showed me that one of his porters was having a tumble with a street girl in the attic, on a roll of green Chi'ing silk, and in their passion, they had turned the oil lamp over.

Nothing major happened that month.

It is now dusk.

With the exodus starting, many an enterprising merchant decided that the Nepeth would be welcoming customers. Caravans filled with food, clothes, candles, books, tools and the odd slave set out. While the Nepeth military had planned to provide provisions, many of the citizens were only too happy to add to their rations, or to wear clothes other than the traditional ones. Especially sandals were in high demand.

Market Rights have been established on the Nepeth Empire tile.

Hmm looks like day timed out on us. To be clear: the scene in the dusk PM reflects NAs, right? Or are you still in the process of resolving night?

Dusk and Night are two separate phases according to the Encyclopedia.

Don't think we've had Night yet, otherwise it'd be Dawn of Day 2, yeah?

I think it's suppsed to be a very vague clue about what happened during the day. Basically, some people moved around.

Okay, so does that mean the game is being delayed by missing NAs or something?

Dude, there's likely a bazillion things for Tapper to sort through all on his lonesome! Why are you so impatient eh?
