OK guys, a little confused again and a little explanation if anyone can provide it will be most welcome.
So, there's a battle scene that starts with Krissen, a scholar who is under siege in a tower at Riven keep. Lieutenant Risp is present and under the orders of Captain Esthala.
Can some=one please explain if these are Legion ( I think they are), who are they attacking and for what motive? I s this by Hun Raal's orders? Have we previously encountered the young Bordersword that escapes and kills Risp? Is Captain Silann Endest Silann? Doesn't seem to make sense to me.
Any explanation greatly received,
Thanks.

The Legion dislike the nobility, especially Draconus who is an obstacle between a future union between Urusander and Mother Dark. So they want him dead. They stage an attack upon the Boarderswords (main?) town fielding a standard showing Draconus colors or crest. Fooling the Boarderswords to attack Draconus' holding.

what Apt said + yes, it is by Huun Raal's initiative, though we don't know if it was his exact order, because the chain of command among the Legion seems to be pretty messy.
No.
No, it's his father. Endest Silann is Endest Silann

They are Legion soldiers disguised to look like Draconus' house guards in order to fool the Borderswords into thinking they had been attacked by Draconus, so that they would 1) Not ally with Draconus, and 2) Hopefully attack him (as they did).
As said above, the command structure here is pretty messy, and these rebel Legion soldiers seem to be taking a lot of individual initiative, although theoretically it's all by Hunn Raal's command (certainly not Urusander's, who is unaware of much of this).
This is the first time that young Bordersword is introduced, yes.
And Silann here is Endest Silann's father, and Esthala's husband. And a douche.

Thanks for all of the explanations guys. I missed the fact that Sillann is Endest's dad.
Great stuff everyone.
