He might change the chainmail-gown to just chainmail.

After he took a savage beating in the Forge of Darkness cover-art thread, I noticed that he added horns to the helm for the US version which was a huge improvement in my opinion.

So hopefully he darkens the chainmail so it is not see-through! That will not fix the baseball-bat grip on the sword though!

Not satisfied. The random figure in Angkor Wat is just cheesy. No way around it. Boat theme was better.

We are a harsh lot, though, admittedly.

It looks like he's supposed to be wearing a chainmail 'longcoat'. Is that supposed to be Kallor?

There's no way that Kallor has such a derpy grip.

Don't feel like warrening through several pages of posts, so I'm going to coin toss my penny and say:

Could be an Azath House?
If there were no smart people others wouldn't feel inadequate.

Right?

I thought the same, fits in with my mind's eye version of an Azath House, albeit one stashed away in a hot and humid country somewhere!

Indeed, they are better than the regular cover that I have.

They'd make good Trapper Keeper art.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

like book 2, book one is generic trash.

ETA: book 2 is generic trash as well, but I like it anyway.

Still think it would be better with a boat, though.

The full dust jackets (front and back) were posted back in January! I still think they look quite impressive (if fairly generic.)
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"
―Gene Wolfe, The Citadel of the Autarch
