A couple of anatomical details that seem a little off (like the swordman's weapon arm), but otherwise very creative; the slavering wave-serpent looks great. (Also how tall are the eldritch enemies? Am I looking at the perspective right, or does it seem that compared to the swordsman they'd stand at least as tall as Karsa?)

Argh the more I look at it the more I wanna keep working on it!

yes, the feeling is the character infront of us (possibly Faradan Sort) is off scale. could definately have worked more on her. Size wise I'd imagine storm riders to be tall. anything living in water tends to grow larger than normal due to temporary release from gravitys pull. Ofcourse on the same arguement they'd have to have lankier limbs and a much narrower body.

REALLY rough idea of sin. sketched it out last night after reviewing the whole Blonde thing...

Not sure if repost??? and not really relevant but heres a concept of Dalinar Kholin from The Way of Kings.

I think I'm projecting my rendition of Skinner as you all remember this guy:

Attached File  skinner bigger but smallish s.jpg (79.44K)

Sorry about the colour intensities. my screen values on Photoshop tend to be quite low not sure why or how to fix it.

Feel like having a Cross over of the two as a future project but I have too much work to do. Also HHD and I started to pick up steam on the Collab project so anything else will slot in as a secondary priority.

I think I have a crush on that Caladan (although I imagine him appearing rather different in my head). The abs. The rogue grin. :) Uuf.
Sinn brings to mind an exact mental image of a character from Skulduggery Pleasant (sans splattering spoilers all across the thread). Kholin's armor looks interesting as well (damn, have to re-read the book). Something seems a wee bit off with the perspective of the sword/arm, and the position of the other leg, though.

Okay, that works. I didn't know how much the Storm Riders towered over everything else.

I dont know?! Its been ages since I last opened it up and thats a shame. My mind is like a sieve.

I'll dig it up, I know I worked on it at somepoint though honestly I have a ton of new better ideas after several rereads. Could this be the birth of a Draconus partner-up part 2?

Grim I'm happy with you posting whatever you have in here as the point of this thread is to get members to communicate about art, their skills and talk out ideas, problems etc. Feel free! (ModGods allowing)

@Kaamsod: Yep! Dalinar has some minor foreshortening issues. It comes hand in hand with bigass swords I think. I am amazed at how many people thought of Caladan Brood as 'neater'. He is Bharghast. The biggest, baddest Bhargast there is actually. Barbarian is his middle, first and last name. Mainly I blame Abyss for this mental image.

Hehe, I didn't imagine him as "neater". More like...well...a grim Hagrid clad in full armor. Although I may have to re-read some scenes before attempting to sketch him. :-D

:p :p Unfortunately I'm stuck with that image in spite of several "alternate" Caladans I've seen here or on Deviantart.

Beards make everything better!

You haven't finished TtH??? drop everything and do exactly this in this ORDER!

1.Possibly locate a coat (Winter is coming.)

2.Run for the mountains.

3.Finish the master piece that is Toll of the Hounds.

4.Possibly blow up from overload of awesome.

At such a point maybe were-dolphins might be EXACTLY what you need to calm down. TtH is all about the end Kaamos.

IR the pic: well...Cottilion, Shadowthrone and Apsalar. Again. I need to move on from Rashan...maybe try my first attempt of the Sengar fam- dammit ST get out of my head!

Here's some unrelated fantasy-esque stuff I'm working on at the moment. I want to do a battlefield aftermath thing with really dramatic clouds. Very WIP!
