The topic title simply looked like a spoiler to those who haven't read this book.

Ahem. No. Draconus and Anomander are not brothers. No spoilers in this poorly-conceived thread title so nothing to complain about or comment upon. No is the answer. Stop being a pack of whinging nancies.

Once upon a time their was darkness. And then maybe their was light. And, for some reason, their was Draconus. Which is what I dont understand. But, to answer your question,

There are other things wrong with it which make me think OT hasn't read FoD yet, so I stop here.

Also, meh, this is the FoD forum, why use spoilers.. Guess for the thread opener.

Yeah, Forge changes an immense amount of what we understood the world to be from the main series, so don't assume anything you read is true.

Except for Torvald Nom being pretty sweet, that's an unchanging fact.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Which is probably why you shouldn't comment on events/questions in the FoD forum and/or things corcerning FoD, as.. well, lets say it does change things a bit and a lot of things we thought were a given are turned upside down. Seriously, get out of this subforum until you've read Fod and know what you are talking about.

Yeah, I'm not really sure that you're qualified to be giving answers to questions about a book that you've not read yet...
