And the cat demon's yowlings have backfired upon him. Some of us are receiving our blessed gifts earlier than others - and earlier than the cat demon can get his hands on this gift from the heavens too. We do not begrudge our brethen as we understand that the angels of delivery are not all equal in terms of speed. In fact, they engage in cosmic cannonball runs with leather helmets and much sabotage of each other (while preserving the general sanctity of the Dresden package, of course). It looks like QuickTidal's angel has avoided most of the in-fighting and has reached him first. Perhaps next time, my angel of delivery shall win out or another's.
This moment of cheer has strengthened my resolve and the arrival of another angel of delivery bearing two seasons of Luther on DVD has given me something else to occupy my mind's hunger.
