Tbh I don't think anyone is really thinking about the football now.

Greg Rutherford is a boss, by the way.

I've seriously just watched about 6 hours of Olympics coverage just to ensure that I wouldn't miss the 100m final. Those men are so speedy I can't even begin to wrap my mind around it.

I am very glad the bar I was at put off the music, turned up the sound and showed it. I am also very glad Bolt finished in under ten seconds, 'cause I was being a rather bad date during that time.

People say this a lot, but the thing is, it's the same attributes that make him a slow(er) starter that make him so fast later on.

Also, he was never really behind at any point really. He's only really a slow starter in comparison to how fast he is later on.

The one that really interests me is Adam Gemili. He's an 18 year old who ran a 10.06 and finished third in his semi- and he did mess up his start. He's an 18 year old who only started serious sprint training seven months ago. His PB is a 10.05 (en route to winning the Junior World Championship a couple of months ago) so if he can find six hundredths in the next 14 months, which I don't think is unlikely given how early in his career he is - and looking at his run in the semi and how slow he started - he'll be the first teenager ever to run sub 10.

I see the Aussies aren't doing very well in the Olympics,

But then: if they could run, they wouldn't have been Australians in the first place

If the answer isn't 'on the shitter' then you need to put the phone/laptop down and close the door, that's just not hygienic.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Dammit, I knew should have qualified the sentence.

But yes, I have been taking bathroom breaks with closed doors.

My bathroom has a handy shelf right next to the toilet - perfect place to slot the laptop so no events are missed!

I watched Mo Farah win his gold on the throne!

Well, that must have been quite the dinner you had that day.

Haha not the full race! That would be disturbing...

On a whole, I've been blown away by the Olympics, I had a pessimistic outlook before it started and at the moment I am in awe!

:p I was at that game and was rooting for Denmark. Mostly admittedly because I like their football team more, but nonetheless.

Great fun though.

Canada upsets France for the bronze!

McLeod had a much better game this time around, QuickTidal - even if the defense was pretty bad. France's defense is always bad, so the late shocker wasn't absolutely unexpected.

Necib is such a good player.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Yeah, I heard. I've not watched the match yet (got it PVR'ed at home). Good to hear McLeod was on the ball. I hear it was a nail-biter to the last minutes game, so that should be good to watch.

I've not seen teh French team play yet, so I'll be excited to see that.

I'm also jazzed to watch Japan and the US go at it later on. Should be a good final!
