These people are a prominent part of the brony community and the majority of others either tacitly accept them or go out of their way to defend them. I'm pretty sure most theatre actors stopped inviting Lincoln's killer to their parties. There's nothing mature about a community that accepts and "tolerates" the worst aspects of people; bronies hit every one of the
Geek Social Fallacies and the end result is terrifying. I've only posted the tip of the iceberg; feel free to do a little digging and find out about, say, the way they joke about molesting underage voice actresses to their faces, or the woman who's received
thousands of death threats, transphobic slurs and real-life stalking for meekly suggesting that a certain character portrays the disabled in a stereotyping light.
Oh, and the guy who did a rap song about murdering and raping said woman is still being invited to perform at brony cons. The problem isn't that there are some assholes in the community. That's the case anywhere. The problem is that
none of them care, and the worst part is that six-year-old girls have started innocently using the internet for the first time to see what they can find about their favourite show and being
instantly exposed to these nutters.
