The interviews on Howard Stern were sweet too.

They even have their own terminology for it. "cloppers" are folks that are into sexual images of ponies.

Good god.

The whole phenomenon is Rule 34 gone horribly, horribly wrong.....or utterly, fantastically right. Not really sure which at the moment.

You make an interesting point, but on the balance i'd say vain self-involved reality tv show fans who think Snookie and The Situation are role models are probably less damaging to the cultural psych as a whole than older men who masturbate to childrens' pony toys. I don't care what the Jersey Shore fans' rationale for buying a t-shirt is, it's still less ick-worthy.
