Town can't take out cult leaders without wasting a lot of effort and time (if they can take out CLs at all...). Moreover, the more town fiddles around with lynching cult suspects, the more chances it has of shooting itself uselessly in the foot. Can't go for both mate. One or the other, two simultaneous clocks. Town has to rely on cult squabbling enough and running into eachother enough to prevent efficient recruitment.

You take away competition, and there will be a monopoly. Remember, if cult dives for the same person, that person is not recruited by either. If there is only one CL, it's a win every time.

My dear, you talk about chance and taking chances and this being a waste of time and then you bring up - as a supposedly convincing argument - that town should rely on the CHANCE that CLs go for the same recruits?

It's certainly not a chance if we already know one, possibly two, of the CLs. Why hope on chance when we can take it into our own hands to screw over a CL by lynching them (ahem, eventually <_< ).

And what's the difference between taking a chance on a CL suspect and getting it wrong, and taking a chance on a Batman suspect and getting it wrong? No difference at all.

One thing you say is true: Town will need luck to win. And I think in some ways we got some of that luck today.

Enjoying mincing words and missing the idea Telas.

I think you and Korby need to get a room ;)

I thought Korbas and Atrahal were a couple... Three way?

I'm not missing the idea, but I do think it is a bad one from the point of view of town. "Cooperate and don't lynch CLs". "Lynch Batman....somehow". Thanks anyway, though.

No day 1 grudge. You're not on my faction now, if what you say is true, so it doesn't matter.

Well as I heard it from Tulas, Korby was like Atrahal is cheating on me, I just know it, and so he like decided that he would show her. And so he picked the sleaziest hunk of meat he could find and started like banging that Telas hunk. And Telas was like, whatever, I just like the attention.

Cooperate and kill batman before turning this game into a backstabbing pissing match with lots of back and forth recriminations and wasting of time.

As far as I'm concerned, Eloth's lynch BP shows that the game design is fundamentally opposed to us trying to take out the cult. And given that, the only option really is to go full steam ahead in a Batman hunt. The no-lynch gives us the certainty we need about how this game is laid out to progress down the right path. For sure we have to keep an eye on the cult, but as town we can't kill them without vigs, at least not efficiently enough for it to be viable. The efficient solution is to trust Batman to keep them in line. More than any words from Eloth or Meanas, the results of the lynch attempt prove that.

I have no regrets about the results from the day. Rushing head long into a game like this without understanding the mechanics at play would not have served us well. But with what we know now, we can get somewhere, we can figure out a coherent plan. So let's draw a line under the conflict from yesterday, and focus on Bat hunting on the morrow.

I don't know why, but for some reason I thought you had an actual plan in mind.

Kill Batman.

No.

Shit.

As I said, find him, and we'll kill him. So give him to us Meanas.

If Telas is as down with Bat hunting as he says he is, then that's all the cooperation I need. Took awhile to get through his thick skull though.

You sure went to a lot of effort to tell us what we already knew and to try and cover some shit in sugar.

You really are a weasely little ponce aren't you. Not one thing you have said has been useful and you expect help.

Case on Liosan, being active in the game unlike our low posters, telling it straight unlike Amp, etc.

Arigh. Sooo much to read up on. What the fuck went down yesterday?

I see Eloth is still alive. Well, I declare the game officially broken if CL's have a LP. Congrats Ment, your first broken game (ever? At least in a long time...). XD

Better hope he's not town. Otherwise we might think you don't want to cooperate.
