The best thing about that video/FAQ (aside from the completely amazing meme-worthy roadmap - "here is a slice of time, we will do some things in that time, some of which will come before other things, and other things will come after those things") is that (parahphrasing):

'None of these console problems came up in our testing'

Is immediately followed by:

'We didn't send out console copies because we were working until the very last day to fix and improve those versions.'

When out and about running errands over the weekend, I happened to drive by one of the Best Buys in my area. They still had the large Cyberpunk 2077 banner up on the front of the building. Come on man, take that down.

It's not back on the PS store yet, so presumably Sony doesn't consider it fixed yet.

I think the PC Gamer article about the latest patch wasn't too rosy, either, but don't quote me on that.

Really, at this point anyone who didn't own already buy Cyberpunk, should just wait for what ever enhanced edition they eventually release. Though that won't be before 2022.

Right, I took the safe path with this game and I've avoided marketing and put off buying the game until I upgraded my PC sufficiently.

Seems like I hit bullseye, because once I played the game, I got blown away. This is easily one of my very favourite games of all time. Story, characters, side gigs, ambience - whenever I play the game I feel immersed like nowhere else, really. Also, this is one of just two games of this type (the other being The Witcher 3) where I *NEVER* use fast travel, driving around NC feels just too good. I wonder what it'd be like if the driving was actually modelled properly on top of that :D

I've been patiently holding off on playing C2077.

First I waited for the game to be updated and patched, then they announced the expansion coming out this year. Which I hope will add some of the content and features supposedly missing from the base game. In the end I'll probably be waiting until what ever goes wrong with the expansion is fixed.
