Also, wouldn't pantheonic position for those who are not part of various High Houses be unaligned? And I thought Burn was represented in the deck by Obelisk.

And I thought Fener and Trake at least, and possibly Togg and Fanderay, were in High House War?

yeah, i think d'rek forgot that house. easy adjustment.

about obelisk, it has represented icarium at one time (DG), and has been said to represent 'time' itself iirc, perhaps in relation to iccy. that was in 7C though. genebackis could be a different case, as caladan brood is there, so obelisk could mean burn. that's the great thing about unaligneds. they're versatile.
There's a fine line between genius and insanity. I have erased this line.

Perhaps High House War is not hierarchical the way the others are?

I've decided instead of saying "unknown" on fields I'm not sure about with various gods, to just leave those fields blank. Looks cleaner and is better at indicating gaps in my knowledge for others to fill.

A representation in a Deck reading and a position in the Pantheon are not the same thing. There can be overlap, but they are not the same thing.

Trying out the forum's mobile version. actually looks better than the regular website. anyway I am looking for an answer and thought this thread may contain that answer, but I didn't find it, so if anyone can indulge me..-

What are the differences between normal and high warrens, i.e. Denul / High Denul?

Good question. I can't remember that ever being explicitly made clear. Could just be question of the skill and power involved. Your average healing magics like curing a cold, healing a wound, expunging a disease would be regular denul. Doing major reconstructive surgery, age reversal, healing a whole squad of people or an entire city would need a very skilled or very strong Denul healer, thus labelling it High Denul. Just like there are mages and high mages.

With Denul, perhaps the difference between a surgeon and an EMT.

Thanks, I supposed it was something like that ;) I am building an RPG system for 'Gardens of the Moon', and it is quite a lot of work trying to figure out details like this before I can even start thinking of proper mechanics -->

Wasn't Kaminsod described as an elemental in Bonehunters when Cotillion was talking to those chained dragons?

Couldn't one say that the Original god of war was perhaps Hood, Lord of Hosts, the assembler of armies to fight death .... and then became death.... leaving an opening that was taken by the boar god at a later time.

No, one could not, as we have no indication that anyone ever worshipped him because of him gathering armies, or in any sort of war aspect. If the mere act of gathering armies made someone a God of War we'd have waaaay too many of them...

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.
