I'm aware of this, and I'm not lurking. And I'm not afraid to be nekked, except that it is against the rules.
I'll fix it and comment in just a bit.

If you don't mind nekkid, I don't either.

Ok, first of all, it was not me who stole the goods. I bet you're all relieved to hear this.
Basically all I have to say at the moment is that we seem to have a situation where people are (at current) content to let things happen behind the scenes rather than on thread. Now, PS has said that a panic lynch is likely not in player's best interest. That being said, I'm sure he didn't design the game to take place entirely behind the scenes. I'm going to approach this game as faction (albeit 2 factions), and look for who appears to not be on my team with the intention of trying to determine a lynch target. Because, a good lynch target will certainly hamstring my enemies' behind the scenes actions.
I will freely admit I'm writing this after a single read-through, and I'm going to go over things again because based on only one read I am not even at a first stage of trying to determine who is on my side.

What the hell. I signed out and signed in again, and I'm STILL nekkid. Either I'm an idiot, or its not working (and I'm afraid it's probably the former)

How do you feel about the contracts in the bazaar about you Merrid? It's odd that another contract with exactly the same wording popped up straight after the first one was bought...

I've only just skimmed through the posts, but wanted to just give my quick thoughts. My feelings are that for at least the first few days, this should/will be a low kill/lynch game, because with more of us out there buying and selling, we will increase monies available to buy titles. Personally, I don't have a lot of cash on hand yet, and it will take some investments before I am capable of doing much.
I've been curious about the contracts, is it possible for someone to sell a contract that they can't fulfill? Can they be running a scam?

If you can't pay someone for completing a contract then everything about you is revealed to the fulfiller.

That makes sense.

C8K, First person to put a retainer on the bazaar, and not buy it back, for 4000 dinari will recieve 1000 dinari.
C9L, First person to put 2 Scribes on Bazaar for 2k Ea and not buy them back will receive 1000 dinari
So how do these contracts benefit the person offerring them?

Well, my guess is that the person offering the contracts is giving someone incentive to sell those items by offering cash to list the goods, but theoretically, the player listing the goods could buy them back, I guess...and that would really screw the person who listed the contract. Because they'd have to pay the person who listed the goods, but they wouldn't be able to buy them (which was the entire point of the contract).

What the hell? Three contracts on Merrid?!
My guess is someone did a Find or something on Merrid and is willing to sell the information to the highest bidder, as many times over as he can. So if someone is curious enough to pay the cash, they can find out that info. Whoever is listing the contracts is trying to cash in on his info as much as people are willing to pay for it.
Of course, whoever purchased it could reveal it on thread and then screw over both Merrid and the contract lister.

And we haven't even talked about Huassan's Riddle of Despair. I think that could be hilarious
I reckon it's possible that someone's already had the item during the previous day, and thus done one of the actions, and now put it on the market for the next person.
