How big a cage are we talking though?

it'll stress you out even more so there's really nothing we can do about it after all.

Let's pretend mouths are cages, teeth are the bars, and it's just their tongues tussling it out in the cage match. That way we all win.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I like that idea too actually. Because what other matchup in a 1v1 would you expect other than Rake vs Icarium? Anyways I came up with a tweaked list of "groups".

Need someone to pair with Burn. Only person I can think of is Brood. Then that makes Kalor alone, and only person for him I can think of is CG. Then that makes Rhulad alone.
Maybe Karsa and Kallor? Too powerful?

What about excluding Burn? After all she just sleeps, and when she wakes up it's game over :)

If not, then I'd say:
- Burn + Brood
- Chained One + Kallor
- Rhulad + Hannan Mosag

And I really wouldn't bother with "too powerfu'". With Malazan power levels You will get a few overkills one way or another. Hood + Gothos. QB + Tayschrenn. Anomander + Silanah.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. Icarium by himself is going to be hard to justifying being beaten. I forgot about Hannan though, good idea! I made some changes!

Need 3more groups for a decent 64 slot bracket!

Skulldeath? Fidd? Koryk? you're missing The Bonehunters... Tarr, Smiles? Ascendents all methinks.

Fidd is with Hedge and Kalam. There aren't enough notable Bonehunters to make the group formidable. I'd have to include parts of the army, such as "The Bonehunter's Marines" or "The Bonehunter Heavies". Or both. But some are in groups already. Bottle, Gesler, Stormy, Fiddler, Sinn. Suggestions on how to add them so it's not just a thrown in group that'll obviously lose their first round? Trying to make most all "groups/pairs" strong enough.

Also, the more I do this the more I realize I need to just hurry and finish TCG(im halfway through). Looking up characters on the wiki to see who should be paired, and seeing things....

I've updated the groups again. Right now there are 67. I'd like to have 64. If anyone can rearrange to make some of the weaker teams slightly stronger?

Look at this guys: http://www.dragonmou...wot-cage-match/

If the WoT guys can have a highly successful forum dedicated to Cage Matches, then Malazan should be able to easily. We have the best character for it!
