also, i feel my drunk ass has to point out, that, short of telas, none of those ministers could realistically exist at the time (not sure how the Japanese felt about female education)

So the Emurlahn lynch worked out about how I'd expected, although its hard to have much on someone that has hardly posted. Liosan is still a possibility in my mind, but I would like to hear thoughts on other candidates.

I am back from my sojourner. I shall now commence getting antiquated with the court gossip. From the looks of things the mill has not missed me at all.

Please feel free to relieve my boredom by posting before that time though.....

Well that was a lot of shit to get caught up on. I could see why they lynch turned on Emurlahn. As I was reading the day I was thinking why are people defending Emurlahn he isn't under a lot of pressure. As the day seemed to wear on it seemed like Emurlahn was lynched because of other peoples defense of him. Hi Driss
Where is the Emurlahn case? This is no justification...
I could almost say that it was some brilliant fake symping. But I don't actually think that Driss was doing that. That would constitute way to high of thought processing.

hey, peoples, been hella busy today. Meant to get caught up at lunch, but other things came up., right now I got about an hour and a half to dedicate to the game (and homework) before I have to rush off to work.
I see Okaros is trying to raise some suspicions about me,basing it off my attempt to get lo-posters to contribute. Hrm, not much to add to that. some of the people on my list Fener, Emu, Ruse, Omtose) have contributed basically nothign so far. A few (Okaros, Tennes) have had a few posts but tried to make them meaningful, and Liosan continues to RP, successfully making sure that whatever points he's trying to get across
whan all is said and done, i will
vote emurlahn
because it's the oddest vote on the train.

OK, on to srs bizniz.
I know I wasn't around for most of the last day, or for the lynch and so I can't really say much on that, but I really dislike the way the lynch changed so quickly before time out. Speed lynching sucks for the one who gets lynched because they don't have time to defend themselves from the accusations. Also, it raises a lot of questions about the person the lynch was deflected from. I particularly don't like this post:
This kind of certainty pings my radar pretty badly. I know he admitted after the lynch that he was wrong and suggested someone kill either him or Liosan to check (also unfair, none of this was Liosan's fault), but really, with no CF how does either death help town?
Great wisdom was heard from the Senior Eunuch Rashan and the wise agreed wholeheartedly. The ministers must needs have assumed that the corrupting of officials would go on relatively unguardedly each and every night, and hence with most, if not all, of the scummy members able to recruit more members to their cause there was truly nothing to deter the cult masters from being as quiet and stealthy as possible. For every night they received no attention they would gain another follower who would gladly deflect attention from their master.
The sole deterrent to force these cult masters into interaction would be the threat of the court lynching those who were too quiet, and so that was the very thing the court must do - not on every eve but at the least always considering it as an option.
This post bothers me as well. Liosan advocates the lynching of Fener, as the lowest poster, despite the fact that there was only one vote on Fener at the time, and as was pointed out, anyone starting a new train at that time was fairly suspect, but then a few posts later votes Emurlahn with no justification.
At this stage I'm not accusing anyone, but I would like to hear more thoughts on these issues. Especially from Liosan, and preferably with a minimum of RP.

Goddammit. I'm telling you right now, Liosan will come up inno. Emurlahn is scum, D'riss his symp/underling. Look at their position on the train on Liosan. They're the reason the Liosan train is ahead. Gah. D'riss completely ignores that Emurlahn is a low content, middle of the road poster, and focuses on the lack of case that I apparently imagined.

Thinking about this, we should really lynch the people who aren't posting. It's a shitty way to go, but the way to find cult in this game is to analyze interaction, not so much trains. If people don't post, we have no way to figure out if their POV has changed or not.
The worst offender is NOT Ruse, it's Fener.
And if we're lynching people for not posting, AND the lowest is Fener, I think the choice is obvious.
Remove Vote
Vote Fener

Lio was doing a dkt catch up, RP style. That's actually one of the reasons I like the rp.
No CF? Do you know something I don't about NKs?
Also, hate to burst your bubble, but this is Mafia. We strive for unfairness.

I'm assuming that since there is no CF on lynches there will be no CF on Nks.
And since when do we strive for unfairness? We strive to win. Not the same thing.

There is a CF. We get information from people when they die. They are Ministers. So, I assume if we got a briber, (ie original cult) they would CF as such. Now, what we don't know is if recruited Ministers CF as recruited,

It is not my intention to obfuscate the meaning of the CF. CF's are intended to let you know if/when town has caught cult.
If someone comes up simply as "Minister of ______" that means they were "Minister of ________" and nothing more.
