While seventeen would be well... stretching it. 5 seems fine (and yes I am a lazy bastard and take this straight of wookipedia. Plot arches that are brought to a satisfying conclusion in the movie. The Search for Skywalker, The Battle of Hoth, Destiny of a Jedi, City in the Clouds, Duel with the Dark Lord. The rest is not tied up neatly since they carry over to the last movie (last for now! go Disney!).
