For me...the fact of the matter is we cant trust them no matter how much we mull over it or think it rings true!...
its just wifom which ever way you are inclined and any one of them are good enough to pull a fake reveal off.
So testing it or seeing their CF's is really the only way of sorting this mess out i think.

Too often it is used by a scum planning to reveal who is testing the waters before deciding which fake reveal they're going to go with. Considering Silencer then waited until HD's reveal to full reveal could be more indication of this, too.

Unfortunately vigging is a rather harsh way to prove something....and also the reason why it is a favorite easy role to fake reveal.

I feel in my gut that both of them are probably telling the truth....but then...i also feel its a pretty well executed fake reveal if you think about it.

just dunno...and that is where my problem lies.

the only person who I saw reacting scummily at the reveals was Bent, but he may have been simply drunk, since he changed his tone once he supposedly understood what was going on.

the person i'm most worried about is Venge, but he won't be on untill late tomorrow, which frustrates me all the more, since I can't get any read on him at all.

What pisses me off if we ask them to prove it now is that day vigs can have interesting uses for town, and it is not "saving the asses from these players from a lynch". Although that is the fault of the reveal-monkeys, maybe they should have spend more time thinking this over.

And if the mods made the effort to put two of those in the game, it may be because they have even more uses that we can't see now.

I think in the future for a game to M&P we need to have all the possible roles out on thread in the op.

pressure on thread gets HD to say he's a Day vig, at which point Silencer says "me too!"

the sequence of events that's fit scum behaviour is all out of whack here. in this scenario, either they are both inno, or they are both scum, in which case, paired symps???

i can easily see HD being a symp and trying to pretend to be some sort of day vig....and silencer actually being one.
dont see how they both HAVE to be either scum or inno...meh

problem is, HD's been hinting at being roled since Day 1. and if he's a symp, who is he symping? (this also applies if Silencer's a symp)

who knows. I dont see why for someone to be seen as a symo you always need a person he is symping...tat never works anyways becasue symps are never obvious enough unless their boss is seriously under the kosh.
Look... HD has been receiving quite a bit of heat from the beginning of the game.
Maye he felt he could fake reveal and cause some confusion and gain a few more days before he inevitably gets lynched or something.

because its less plausable i dont think we can just write it off though...

Let me put it this way.....in a game like this...i would definitely be trying to pull something like this.

The problem comes with if we dont test them....then we have to label them PI....we cant really have it both ways can we?

yeah, I know where you are coming from.
however, thinking about the potential fallout of testing.... like I said, up to 5 innos down is a lot.

If we were certain one is lying, then the idea of asking them to "vig" each other is win-win: the honest one survives.

However, if they are both honest, that is one big waste (although it could show us the scum, who won't be able to post for a few days while they try to catch their breaths from the laughing.)

I, for one, can say I'm not convinced one is lying.
