This might just be the most unconvincing lynch in the history of ever.

Also, you bastards! I spent hours reading through and building that case, and pretty much no one commented on it!

It was lovely

Im leaning towards either a GL or Atrahal lynch right now, as neither posted after their catch up posts, and GL promised to do so. I still got my eye on Thyr but more as a symp than killer.

Actually I said I would be back before timeout, which I was, but the lynch had already happened. :p Now we have plenty of time again.

This is the scummiest post EVAR, it makes me want to hurl. Plenty of time to jack around and do nothing, GL? I see you're making excellent use of this time by doing nothing. How do you have such a high post count anyway?

Hm. Good job, people! I was honestly expecting Anthras to be inno, based on his reaction to the case against him.

Anyway, I've got some time before the next performance, so I'll make this quick. But first I have to read thorugh the cases pre and post lynch.

Um, because I wasn't busy when the game started and then my boss left for vacation and I didn't have time to post. By "plenty of time", I mean in terms of the day's timeout - there isn't a lot of discussion going on right now anyway, so it allows me to NOT get fired and still have time to do a full reread and post. Honestly, we have even more to work with now that we have a confirmed scum death.

In reality, you calling my post scummy is what is actually scummy.

I have spent the last hour or so doing a full re-read. I have a lot to say, so I wont quote herre, but if there is something in particular you want me to quote I can go back and find it.

The first thing I noticed was that Thyr is very non-committal, he'll quote posts and say "something about this feels off to me", "this feels scummy to me", and of course the "does anyone think we should let night go without a lynch?". Even his vote on Korlat is very vague. Although Korlat has been participating a lot in the last few days he quotes nothing that strikes him as suspicious, and doesn't say at all why he is voting for Korlat, apart from gut and unidentified suspicions. This is strange, as the whole game he has emphasised that he doesn't want innocents to be lynched, and will refuse to vote for those he thinks innocent, even though a lynch is better for town in the end than no lynch. Half way through day three he claims he is going to look at lynch trains because that should help us figure out who is "getting innocents lynched", comments on the inconsistency from Path-Shaper and then leaves.

He has also answered weakly to any cases made against him. His defence always consists of bluster, followed by redirections. Karatallid's case on him day one was answered with questions (why would you vote for me? I haven't even voted for you yet. Have you even said anything else in this game?) followed by redirection on to the suspicions building at the time. The accusations Korabas brings against him on day one get the same treatment, as do the questions around his "no lynch" comment. He claims he would have argued against it, is not trying to derail the lynch, etc. etc. (Does this sound familiar? He does the same thing with his Korlat vote), and then says "give the collective some credit" - if you don't think "the collective" would have fallen for it, why even suggest it?

He also seems very decisive about who he thinks is innocent and who he thinks is scum. "I don't get a scum vibe from Anthras", We can hope that Alkend was a symp but don't hold your breath" and his attack on Korlat.

I think Thyr is scummy as fuck BUT all this stirring up the thread, dropping stuff down right before a lynch and being certain on the allegiance of people is far more characteristic of a symp than a killer.

Thyr must be symping Anthras. His attack on Korlat was put at a time when Kesso and Anthras were getting about the same amount of heat. Neither of them have had any serious interaction until today, which is strange as both have had cases on them, but neither have commented on the other's case, except when Thyr stated he didn't get a scummy vibe from Anthras. Now Anthras has picked up that Thyr's vote before last night could be traced back to him and he is frantically distancing himself in the hope that Thyr will be lynched instead of him.

Anthras has definitely been coasting, the only content posts of his before today were summaries of the suspicions on other players. He almost never addresses the suspicions laid against himself. His flip-flopping on votes last night was strange, especially his vote on Thyr, which he removed as soon as he was called on it. This mirrors the voting on day one, where Thyr voted Anthras and then removed it pretty much immediately, even though he said he wasn't convinced by Anthras' argument. I generally think day one signalling cases are BS, but this kind of mirroring is highly suspicious.

In my opinion there is no point in going after the symp. His CF will tell us nothing, and it won't stop the night kills. It's time to aim for the killer.

vote Anthras

This is a great piece of work by Merrid (may she rest in peace). I couldn't have said it better myself.
Both Thyr and GL have caught my eye. Must perform more research. Will investigate each player.

Why? Not in the "Heres some evidence" scummy, more like "PING" on the scumdar. LIke you don't care. Trust me, I can relate to all types of RL obstacles. It's maybe D-Day and no one has even shown up

I was responding to Thyr, but you posted in between us, so it could look like I was responding to you since I didn't quote him. So often it helps to clarify who you were directing comments at if that happens.

Right, which is why I was glad we hit scum with that lynch, because it gives me more time (that I needed) to really reread the thread and make a decent case, it being D-Day and all.

The reason I called your post scummy is because I didn't see any logic or reasoning to you saying I was scummy. It seemed random. Randomness is often scummy, especially at endgame. So I am very wary of you.

GL, it seems we are feeling the same atm. I initially thought you were playing strangely, but as I read over what you have said all game, I am slowly beginning to think you are inno. You contributed greatly in the first few days, but then you dropped off (your reason sounds legit). The only thing is, as thyr said, you have been posting kind of randomly.

That leaves thyr or Korabas, or Kara. I now think Kara is not scum. He seems to have put an honest effort into putting out cases and helping in general.

Korabas..I've been suprised that nobody really followed up on the whole reveal thing. I completely forgot about it. I'll have to look into your actions since then.

Thyr, as Merrid and Kara and now GL believe, seems the most scummy out of the remaining players. It has been noted that you have had a few questionable comments, and have called the play of others scummy outright a few times, sometimes with no base.

Comments? Questions? Ask me, I am only here for an hour more.

Korabas has to be pretty much CI at this point; when he revealed as lovers with twelve, twelve confirmed it and came up town when we lynched him. The only possible way that Korabas isn't PI is if twelve was a symp and somehow they already knew each other on day 1. I said over and over that we could not revisit this problem and had to test it, and I think we have. If I'm wrong, something is crazy fucked with the game mechanics.

Thyr is scummy as hell. Kara I am on the fence about. Atrahal I don't have a great read on you and my opinion swings back and forth.

All right. I had forgotten what had gone down with Korabas until a few minutes ago.

I feel the same about Thyr. If you want to ask me anything, go ahead. Now that we are on concurrently, maybe we can figure things out.

Everybody's been calling me scummy the whole time. Hasn't stopped me from playing the same way or saying what I want.

Kara - has had no heat, no cases against him, smooth sailer - I suspected him from the start, but my gut has been a lying beast this game (at least looking for a killer)
