In a parallel to that, the SCOTUS just made a decision on a slam dunk asylum issue this week, and were still split 5-4 (only John Roberts, among the conservatives, actually sided with the plain language of the law). A lot of news outlets presented it as a blow to Trump's agenda -- which it was -- and acknowledge the split ruling, but failed to tackle, at all, the fact that this should have been a 9-0 ruling without any leeway and it was conservative perversity that is warping such rulings.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Trump hyped the market returns as proof of his policy genius for a year and a half.

At this rate by Mid January the DOW could be down since his inauguration. Somehow I don't think he'll say its his fault ...
Tatts early in SH game: Hmm, so if I'm liberal I should have voted Nein to make sure I'm president? I'm not that selfish

Tatts later in SAME game: I'm going to be a corrupt official. I have turned from my liberal ways, and now will vote against the pesky liberals. Viva la Fascism.
When Venge's turn comes, he will get a yes from Mess, Dolmen, Nevyn and Venge but a no from the 3 fascists and me. **** with my Government, and i'll **** with yours

Apparently Trump also attacked the fed and the new Chief of Staff created more confusion on the market.

When the market opens again Trump is going to go nuts as the market hits a new years iceberg.

Also Trump posted this today which warms my heart.

I don't get it. Weren't the Mexicans supposed to pay for the Wall?
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Maybe it's a credit card kind of thing? Mexico sends all their worst people (they're bring drugs, crime, some are rapists even, though I imagine some of them are good people) and pays for the wall later? Cash on delivery perhaps?

Anyway, I think Trump isn't being ambitious enough! Why build a wall when you dig the biggest moat in the world! I'm talking tarred spikes here, caltrops, sharks, landmines, drones, trouts with lasers on their heads!
Build a big fucking moat straight through and physically seperate Mexico from the US. He should totally do that!
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

This dumb bastard's trying to blame everybody but himself. As if he didn't head DHS before he became Chief of Staff, and wasn't right there, complicit with and supportive of every one of Trump's white nationalist policy decisions (eg Muslim ban, zero tolerance, family separation). If he wants to air dirty laundry, that's fine, but after that utility is spent he can rot with the rest of em.

Is this shit for real? I mean - seriously?

https://www.news.com...2e5b55a6793c49e

Sheriffs can pocket funds intended to provide for inmates in their care? WTF???

You guys really are one fucked up country. The more I find out about the USA the more I marvel at how it has managed to get so far, and the less I wonder about why it's going to hell in a handbasket so quickly.

Alabama is the shit hole of all shit holes. Think of it like Romania but with out any old world charm.

It was legal for him to take money for food from unspent state funds. However taking money for food from unspent federal dollars is a different beast all together. This particular piece of shit was not reelected thank god. I think that the Justice department is going to investigate the federal dollars and hopefully he will end up going to bang you in the ass federal prison.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Ha ha ha. Trump is like a booger eating snot nosed little brat a mother has to deal with when she is going down the breakfast cereal isle at the grocery store. Snortin and slobbering all over himself and throwing a fit until mommy dearest caves in and buys that new cereal - Wall-e-Os.

(I'm putting this article in this thread because I'm not sure where else to put it. Mods, move it around at your leisure. )

So, I've now been sitting here for several long, long minutes thinking what to actually write about this piece and how it might relate to politics. I've got nothing. This is...scary fucking shit.
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

Yah, I mean it weaves through a lot of uglier aspects of the US and even human history, the good the bad and the ugly, but that real dark side of the psyche is a whole strand in the DNA of American politics as long as the Republican Party -- which is the Fox News Party -- exists. It poisons the brain.

And when applied to a brain already mid-necrosis, you get this:

They came with white hands and left with red hands.

El Presidente Trumpito to address the nation about why we need the wall. Me and some buddies are going to play a drinking game where we do a shot of tequila for every lie. We expect to be passed out drunk or rushed to the hospital to have our stomachs pumped within 10 min of speech's start.

Make sure to have a number of shots poured before you begin, because otherwise, you might run into a problem where you can't pour fast enough to keep up.
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

I'll save you the trouble of trying to sort the wheat (if any) from the chaff.

Drink every time that disgusting, lying, traitorous, greedy, stupid piece of shit opens his festering turd hole of a mouth.
