Just saw this thread on Twitter. Looks serious. We have been wondering for years what Trump has on Lindsey Graham because it is obvious he is being blackmailed. And I never thought that just him being gay was all there was to it. Downthread, this guy mentions rape, in a very legally safe way. And I believe him.

Hit about face opinion on Trump wasn't just a typical Republican locking step with the one in power...it was far more insane, and his bootlicking since then has bordered on the absurd...so I figured it was something like this.

And I would put good money on this info being in the RNC server hack and is the kompromat on him that made him about face on Trump.

So here are my thoughts:

I did a quick check, only 40 percent of under 30s vote. Black people vote on par with white propel in America but the other demographics seem quite low. Can Biden and just as important candidates running for the house expect greater youth turnout, and better minority support in the future?

I’m surprised more isn’t said about this?

4 million people turn 18 this year. They graduated during a pandemic. Is that a potentially huge source of anti trump votes? Perhaps dissatisfied with his handling of covid

But does it matter? Isn't just the vote of the electors that count? Yes the electors should vote according to the majority in their state but ... what's to stop them just doing whatever they want?

If their plan is to see that electors TRULY go away and are just replaced by an automatic vote then nothing is stopping them other than never being in politics again.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

This is apparently what the hundreds of male escorts Lindsey Graham has hired call him. I've even read that it's the name he uses when he hires them. Waiting for some real reporting on this...

So how many hookers do we think he accidentally murdered while being secretly filmed by a dozen different intelligence agencies?

It's gotta be something pretty dirty for him to that quickly turn into Trump's lap dog.

What the he’ll does defund and dismantle the police mean. Do people really want to get rid of the police? Seems an over reaction. Demilitarize, retrain, shift funding sure. But defund?

It's not a movement that I really follow but it's getting a lot of traction now for obvious reasons.

I see your points and agree with many of them, but would it kill you to proofread?

There's something like a 13% rate of clearance for property crimes, sub 55% clearance rate for murder, abysmal treatment of those who undergo sexual assault, and tons of other stuff.

A better vision of what police do should basically require refunding and possibly disbanding to commit funds to social workers (to deal with domestic violence, mental health calls, drug addiction issues etc) and give the police far less responsibility. They're asked to do enormous amounts of things with their options being "don't deal with it, force people to move on, arrest people and get them into jail". That's a shitty and limited set of options to use when facing that many problems.

So yes, I support large amounts of de-funding and channeling the funding into something that doesn't involve people with guns beating other people up and shooting them.

At the absolute, bare minimum, least, they need to have their "buy surplus military hardware" funds taken away from them. Because when the hell did that go from being insane to being the norm?
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

So the Gestapo shit has begun...gird yourselves America looks like shit is about to get much worse...

UPDATE: He was not arrested, but I'm unsure if that's becuase his lawyer sassed the cops for talking about it on twitter, or because it started to get traction/go viral. Either way, they stopped harassing him.

Still though....

Well, they're certainly disproving all preconceived notions hence forth. Maybe they could burn a cross in their yard as a peace offering.

I'd love to know if this is boldness brought on by who's in power in the WH/Congress, or if this is them feeling like if they back down they will lose it all, or if this is just how they've always done things and w're seeing it be revealed in all it's shittiness now?

One thing I know is that most cops can't back down because they can't take the ego bruising. It's fucking hilarious to see videos of cops being told to Fuck off, and called names...and they try to (and sometimes successfully) arrest the person for that...It's like "Maybe if your little ego is that fragile you should not be walking around with the power and the weapons, huh?"

I think there's some of them who are frustrated because they legitimately do try their best and feel journalists aren't being fair, which in turn makes them angry enough to feel their bullying tactics are warranted. Or they're just thugs. Who knows.

And one guy who is supossed to calm things down so they can be dealt with rationally and not in the heat of the moment is busy pouring oil on the fire and fanning the flames. Like wtf?

RNC moved to Jacksonville, Florida. Trump needs them mouth breathing MAGAers packed tight and coughing all over one another. Shows how popular he is and exudes confidence that he should continue leading the country. Promises Made, Promises Kept. Transition to Greatness. Keep America Great.

Dang Florida, you really embrace the 'Florida Man' stereotype don't you?

Anyone know when Biden is going to name his VP? Seemed like Kamala Harris was a shoo-in at one time, but with recent events, there's been clamoring for Stacey Abrams or the Mayor of Atlanta. What's the haps oh sageful, wisdom bearers of all things US politics?
