Are people on the train voting ruse because he is shield or cult.
If you are voting him cause he is shield...why is Fener so concerned about him, why does Fener have a vote on him, why would a shield start freaking out with 2 votes if he knew there were 2 other shields and that their vote could be directed by the pig. It doesn't make sense.
If you are voting him because he is cult. Think, how would he be PIing ppl as town... He wouldn't know who cult is. That's a huge gamble. Which is why I am surprised that tennes was so eager to get on his train early. (probably an ego thing about being right day 1). If he is cult, why would Fener want to lynch him off? Cult only helps team pig and makes his job easier. He has no VC to get rid of cult.
Likely, ruse is what he says he is. And Fener knows, and so wants to have us get rid of him... Why else would Fener have tried to NK ruse last night??? He wouldn't have nk'd a shield, and he doesn't need to kill cult to win. He nk'd him cause ha's a threat. except if he IS cult, leaving him alive gives him 1 more night to recruit.
wcs, he could have 3 votes tomorrow.
after all, if he has the majority once we eliminate the shileds, he can just vote off the pig and win.
both scum and cult are serious threats to town. neither can be ignored.

i'm currently seriously swayed to vote Ruse, if he doesn't come clean.
if he CFs town, we get 2 CIs out of it.
if he CFs cult, we could be pretty sure we got the recruiter.
if he CFs shiled... well, that's just a win.
yeah, the risk is losing a power role.
but if we don't hit cult soon, knowing who the shields are won't matter anymore, because that info will provide help to the cult's voting block.
besides, up till now, by his own admission, Ruse's super-action hasn't done anyhting for us.

Well, really we only get PI in terms of Scum/ no Scum. As far as you guys know, tennes or I could still be cult. Also, Likey, one of us 2 won't make it through the night.

But you are playing right into Fener's hoofs... He is in a no lose situation here. He either gets a power role voted off, or he loses the cult leader.. which he could care less about...
Honestly, what is his motivation for voting Ruse... He'd never do it to his shield... the only way this is a win for town is if he is cult leader. any other way, we are going to lose.
I can see the writing on the wall, but I am not going to be voting for Ruse. I won't assist in this suicide. I realize that if he comes back cult leader I am making it seem like I am a recruit... but I just don't believe that that will happen.
On the plus side, if he does come back cult leader, we know that Tennes is a probable shield.

ok, let's try a different tack:
who do you think is the cult leader?
the other thing is, we don't know how the cult works. if recruited shileds stop protecting the pig. (as I would imagine they do), cult is even more of a threat to town, b/c it can fulfill its VC by gaining voting majority via recruiting shileds, and then voting off the pig, before the remaingin town even realises that the pig is defenceless.
in this context, the cult becomes way more of a threat to town.

I guess, i'm just expressing my opinion that Ruse isn't anything other than what he says he is, thus, no vote from me. If he was the cult leader, there is no way he would come out, say Tennes is town, I am town, and Barghast is town. There is too much risk for a leader to do that. He can recruit both Shields and Town as has been shown. If he messed up just one time, he would be toast. He has given us 3 Town names. Has anyone disputed this? We even got a CF on one that said he was telling the truth. You think a leader sticks his neck out like that? Just gambles that he might be right? I don't see it.

Though, now that Korbas came on, could have hammered and didn't... i am not real sure about him. seems an odd play for a cult leader or a Shield.

The only way a cult leader is dead is if Eloth was cult leader.
and if he was, it makes no snese that he was so willing to vote off OE.
it is far more likely that Eloth was a night 2 recruit, who died the same night.
which means the recruiter is alive.
and as for Ruse, I agree his strategy seems really odd, but that applies to his claimed role as well, so it amkes the point a bit moot.
I'm waiting for Ruse's response. but if he doesn't come clean, I will hammer.

Jeez, what a day (in real life I mean). I'm here, but not for very long at all. Reading over what's been happening, I just wanted to address these two posts:
I have already stated why I am against Ruse - I don't think cult should be in the game, and I don't want cult in the game. I would rather get rid of them as soon as possible so we can get back to town vs. me without any random interference, and a possible win by a team that none of us saw coming.
Frankly, Osseric, I have to ask - been recruited, have you?
Nowhere near as much risk as you make out. Think about it. Say he pronounced someone who was actually a shield as town - who would argue against it? Not the shield - they'll be enjoying everyone thinking they're inno. Not me - because why would I out one of my shields? There's far less chance of them being lynched as he's made them PI, so there's little risk in the lie being exposed through a lynch. And their CF won't be revealed through an NK, because why would I kill one of my own shields?

You know, it really makes no sense that Tennes would be on the train if he was inno. I feel like he would be fighting as hard as me to keep Ruse from being lynched. Unless, Ruse called him town, and he was in fact cult. It also might be a reason why Tennes has been able to be so gung ho about going after Ruse. He knows he isn't a recruit, and that based on Fener's play he isn't a shield. Thus he's an unrecruitable power role and Tennes needs him lynched/Nk'd to fufill the VC for cult. That makes sense in my head.
