I like Khell I like having him back in the games. But I had figured out that he was alliance. That is why my 2nd to last post I told him that he could have at least pretended to not want to vote for me. He kept bringing up that either myself and Shadow were alliance. Someone doesn't do that as many times as he did it unless they are alliance trying to make either myself or Shadow doubt each other. He is playing smooth. I didn't have him down as a leader at all. I figured that olar had been on my team then wasn't. Teammates who vote for me get the shaft. Which is why I attacked him yesterday during the day. Bastard.

Ha I knew that mental was the one who attacked me on day 1. Luckily I was able to pay him back in kind.

So...with the double vote that means Ashikaga can match 5 votes to 5 votes from all others. However, there are 3 killing roles left, one who is a complete Wild Card in Karat.

I don't know if I'm supposed to officially call this in favor of the Fujiwari, or let it play out since the Day 5 lynch and Night 5 actions could still change the game completely.

It's a little embarassing to ask this, but what is the official word from you mafioso rule nazis? Is this a Fujiwari Win, or is it still too close to call?

I have to go. I would prefer to send out night results and/or end the game myself, but if that isn't to be I will allow for someone else to do it (and I"ll add the scenes later).

If the game doesn't end, the only night action that happens is both leaders fail their recruitment attempts, Fener is wounded, and Shadow dies.

I like the rant. A bit too much like Mac's famous one to make it 10/10, but 8.5/10 on the scale of rudeness. I think it is up there with your Heroes 2.0, which was less inventive and explicit but had a lovely repetition of random fucks.

In other news: team Cool & Collected (The Dude, KL, Starling and Mott) are going to win, and the lower echelons have been impressive, especially considering they've all got less than 10 games under the belt. (Barring weird stuff at night, of course).

Is it me, or didn't you specify winning conditions in the first 10 posts or so?
I played in the understanding that it was last man standing, anyhow (which is why I started secret alliances, too).
If parity was the VC, then technically the Fujiwari win. If majority is, then no, you can't call it If you did mention it somewhere and I'm an eejit or told it to someone in PM, then stick to what you said.

A big advantage for you is that all players, despite thinking they know the exact faction numbers (and being wrong about it due to recruiting) think the game is not over. I'd not call it now that day has started, anyway. If the Fujiwari killer lives and another recruit succeeds, then you have a good basis to call it.

Also, the double vote is a capricious thing and is an ability. Since it is not guaranteed that it will work 100% all the time, I'd say the Fujiwari don't have 5 votes. They have 4 votes and a 5th conditional vote if everything pans out the way it ought to, but end of the day, there are only 4 guaranteed votes and that is not enough to vote night and force night.

I'd echo what Tapper said as far as ending the game: it depends entirely on what VCs you are using. Of course, if you never stated those VCs before, you could make them whatever you want right now. But if the VC is last-faction-standing, it wouldn't be reasonable, IMO, to call it yet with killers on the non-Fuji factions still sticking around, because they could get very lucky and kill Korv and Korlat.

When I recruited Sheltatha Lore, there was one alliance, Fujiwari-Takeda, so Shelly COULD NOT have come from those, right?
Making Shelly either Miura or Uesugi. But Shelly was perfectly willing to lynch Eloth, the Uesugi leader, right? That's what I seem to remember. So she must be Miura? Meaning Karatallid is not Miura.
