there are 6 votes to get a lynch. 6 non alliance members. Sheltatha has just basically announced he is alliance. Fingering someone as non alliance or part of the three. If we lynch him then the alliance is down by one and shaky

What?
Careful there not to buy the Shadow Kool-aid (who, I should note, is also voting for Tulas). For all we know, his Spartacus-attitude is a way to force the non-alliance to "reveal and unite" on thread, to be screwed once in the open.
I keep playing like I did until now. I vote based on the information I have, for someone probably not in my team. Better than a more dangerous target I'm not so clear about, who could be in my team, in the name of a game mechanics I don't know anything about.

ok, anyone else seeing a pattern here? some of us start talking suspicions of Tulas, things are starting to heat up nicely, and suddenly we are pointing fingers at 'alliance' members and no one is interested in TS anymore. Also, i would like to point out that TS has been BLATANTLY ignoring my posts. i have said several times that during the first day i supported him. also, he replied to Shadow's case on him but not mine. This makes me even more suspicious of him. seems to me that he is only replying to what he can defend himself against.
im not interested in lynching Karatallid. i really see a Kara lynch as a last resort. it won't give away information about our teams, but it also wont give us any more information about others.
i do think Sheltatha needs looking into. for someone who is fairly vocal, she hasnt really come under much scrutiny.
that being said, im going to vote Tulas Shorn, cause he is a sneaky bastard and i want him to reply to my posts

Three wounds and you're out, it takes some nights to build them up, but now it's picking up in speed.

I completely forgot about this - that puts my theory in doubt. Hmmm, it's still true that no allied factions have NK'd each other though.

ok, so i finally managed my re-read. looks like mostly stuff is covered pretty well when it is brought up. however, i noticed this, and cant believe no one else picked up on it:
To me this is a much more direct signaling case then the Korean bit. But I still don't understand why people would bother to signal in a merc game. I mean trying to signal who your faction is allied with sure. But to signal your own teammates I just don't get that. Seems stupid to me.
this is from the first day. why is TS suggesting that anyone would signal their allies but not their team members. why would ANYONE signal people they have a potentially temporary alliance with, for starters. but the only reason i can think of for why you would signal your allies and not your team mates is because you already know your team mates. which leads me to believe that TS knows his team mates. and TS was pretty set on defending the actions of Eloth and Merrid. to the point where he made several long posts about rp-ing, and insisted on all of them that he wasnt defending either of them. i missed this at the time as i wasnt reading them all at once, but it really stood out to me in the re read. on top of that, long discussions on rp and mechanics, and a fixation on the number of posts that have made by each poster it look like he is posting much more content than he actually is. and since he is the top poster, keeping his focus on low posters is somewhat suspect. it feels to me (and i may be wrong about this) that the higher posters are being targeted, which makes it surprising that TS is still alive.
apart from this i have not much to say. i dont have much of a read on who is left. plenty of suspicions that were dashed by the suspicious ones getting killed! but that is rather academic now.
also, nice summaries, Shadow

I'm sorry do you feel ignored. I didn't mean to be I just happened to be on with Shadow part of the time. It is true both you and shadow did support my bit on RPing during the first day. However I don't think that either one of you have supported me since. Thus on the days when I was actually in the headlights I have had to defend myself. As for why I posted a reply to Shadow's case. The simple fact that he had voted for me while you had not. Plus his case and your case seemed very similar. Thus replying to one would be like replying to both. I am sorry that you didn't see it that way. Perhaps now we can be friends again.
As to your point about things starting to heat up on me. What do you really expect. That on day 4 people would jump to speed lynch me when there was over 30 hours left in the day. I would think that the fact that people want to post and talk about different ideas would be considered a good thing. I know that some of you just want to be able to get to the end of the game by coasting along and not having any real discussions and that is a fair tactic. But really to say that those of us who want to discuss the game are trying to side track things when there is 30 hours left in the day is a bit ridiculous don't you think. If you want me lynched I don't think that you have to fear that people will forget about me. If that is what you are worried about. Also Olar just a fyi lots of mods have a hard time seeing a bolded vote if you don't separate it from the rest of the paragraph. In fact I can think of a couple who would ignore that vote until it was properly formatted.
As for Kara your right that should be a completely last resort lynch and since no one else has gotten on and counter revealed. I see no since leaving my vote on him.
Remove vote
Now though it is very possible that I will not be able to get on for several more hours. So because I do think that the grand alliance is the bigger threat. Although I do agree that everyone who is still alive is trying to find a way to win. Even Kara. I disagree with the alliance reveal. Everyone has names, all the alliance will have to do is to start revealing their names and walla reveal fest and lynch and nk everyone who isn't a A or F.
Now the person who strikes me as having the greatest likely hood of being alliance is Shelly.

OK, one thing about those alliances.
As I said in an earlier post, I don't understand the alliances, and I'm quite reluctant to build too much strategy around them. I would be happy to vote someone in the allied teams, but not for being in the allied teams, for feeling they're not in my team.
Heck, if I were in an alliance I wouldn't bat an eye voting for someone in the other team of the alliance.
Why?
Alliances come and go, from what we have seen. No guarantee that things will stay the same later in the game. Also, I don't have any indication besides what people say on thread that alliances have to do with victory conditions. Fener's idea that it relates to the success of night actions makes sense also, and doesn't tell my why I should choose my target based on alliances.
Plus there's that whole can of "open" alliances, suggesting there are hidden ones too.
Problem is, I don't have this much good information about people's factions, so I go with what I have in my notes.
All this to say, if Karrat revealed as the last of the Mohicans, and I believe that if he wasn't the real last, he would have been counter-revealed, then he's a safe lynch for me. For all of us. He's not in our team, and voting him doesn't reveal additional information about our team.
Tulas I would vote also, because I do believe he's Uisega based on the day 1 actions. And hunting the leader like I did, I think I don't reveal more information about me if I vote someone for being a potential Uisega.
Shadow, I believe he has something in his sleeve with this offensive. Is he not in the Alliance? He can't be Muira, if he's Uesagi he's been doing it wrong so far, so his attacks basically reveals him as Takeda at a stage of the game where it's not the smartest idea. I'm wondering if the behind-the-scenes state of the alliances is not different from that it is based on the "open alliance" information, and he's trying to do a push for the win.
edit: slight clarification

The alliances have only gone because one of the leaders have gone. Thus current alliance is between the only to remaining leaders. So it probably isn't going anywhere unless one of them go to SH.
