Quick inquiry: I'm currently reading Toll the Hounds, and I'm wondering why the Hounds of Shadow are attacking Darujhistan in the first place.

It's been a while since I read TtH, and I recently picked it up again mid-novel. Any clarification would be most appreciated. :D
