So instead I will catch up and address outlying accusations and banality to which I doth take thee offenceth: (that's how they talk in old Japan right?)
I was absent. That happens sometimes. Laying it on a bit thick mr?
No, I meant syllables. I don't know japanese characters at all, I have no idea how many would be in a name. And no it wasn't a PM to path-shaper, I was just making a 1st-post joke the same as yous guys' first posts about tea ceremonies and bowing and shit. And maybe some of you didn't get 14 syllable char names, but {a} there's such a thing as exaggeration and {b} this being feudal shogunate japan there are lots of long names. Maybe my role is Matsudaira Kurandonosuke Motoyasu? (No, it isn't, he's not born yet)
Oh noes, I'm confused and blundering on day 1! Please Atrahal, elaborate on how you have such a complete knowledge of the entire game less than 24 hours into the first game of the series. Please, share with us this fountain of knowledge you posess...

I don't get Thyr's weird statement. At first I thought I'd missed the explanation for it, but reading back Thyr's just sort of ignoring it. Although I'm not completely convinced it's really a good reason for a lynch. But pehaps it's too much to hope that someone would get 'syllables' and 'characters' confused as well as not be able to count particularly well.

I looked over Thyr again, and I think that is a worthy train as well. I agreed he doesn't say much and seems to spend most of his time perpetuating or exhibiting confusion, a great way to look like a blundering inno. Also, the fact that not only did he not remove his vote from Kesso, but that he didn't even respond to Kesso's retort is suspicious. Frankly, I still find them both (Kesso and Thyr) suspicious, so I'll hold on Kesso for now.

Masamoto crumpled the last paper and threw it into the brazier. Nothing. No help. The smaller lords claimed allegiance but either they knew nothing, or were deliberately working against him. He wondered if the bad news would even register with the Shogun while he prepared for his latest role in a Noh play. Perhaps he should…keep the development under wraps for the moment so everything would appear stable. At the very least, the subjects appeared forthcoming which was better than Masamoto had expected after hearing the rumors in Kyoto of the silly arrogance of provincial lords. However, the situation of power balance appeared to be as tenuous as he had been led to believe. Hojo said all the right words, but Masamoto couldn’t help but wonder if his authority had been undermined before he even arrived from Kyoto.
-----------------------
Uji the innkeeper watched as they hammered the hand-inked notice below the head of Morizono Kuniyoshi. He couldn’t read the notice himself, but he heard people muttering it quietly, so the dead man’s spirit wouldn’t overhear them and switch his soul with theirs. “I wonder who he upset so much that they had to do that.” He wondered. Shaking his head sadly he continued walking on to the small patch of vegetables he kept on the edge of the village to pick some gobo. He smiled as he considered how much his guests were going to like his freshly made kinpira for their suppers.
Kessobahn (Mentalist) is dead. He was Morizono Kuniyoshi, Loyal to the Shogunate.
Night resolution coming.

Lord Naito allowed the maid to pour more sake for him. He was feeling expansive, laughing freely with his guests. The omens were good according to his fortune teller, and he had faith in the new kamakura-kubo to not only put the Hojo and their allies under his thumb, but to finally acknowledge those who had remained true to the Ashikaga by appointing them to positions in Kyoto. Or if not Kyoto, which he allowed might still be a long shot, at least closer to some real authority in either Izu or Odawara.
Excusing himself he stumbled out into the garden. Pushing his kimono aside he let go with the strong piss of a young man who was in the prime of life. A soft step behind him brought a smile to his face as he thought the maid had followed him. The smile turned to a wide grimace when the blade slid easily through his ribs, finding his heart. As he toppled, he let go with the strong pulsing blood of a young man who was in the prime of life.
Tiamatha (Tattersail) is dead. He was Naito Uchio, Loyal to the Shogunate.
It is Day 2, 36 hours are left.

Kessobahn in inno shocker. Anyway, on a related note, I found this post by Galain interesting:
RE the bolded part: Uhm, actually HP did discuss your cases, in that bit which you snipped off. And he came to the conclusion that you looked like you were colluding. I'm not saying that HP is right, but to rewrite history like that makes it look as if Galain is trying to highlight a target for the rest of us for the next day before the first lynch is even done.
Galain, on 29 November 2011 - 12:33 PM, said:
As Tennes said, HP's behaviour does look very suspicious. Here's his post:
He claims to have read everything, but then doesn't even discuss the merits of the cases Atrahal and myself have presented. It's almost as if the contents of the cases are irrelevant to him. I agree with Tennes' analysis that there's good chance he's a symp...either an inexperienced one trying to defend a master or a more experienced one trying to deflect.
This tips the scales slightly more in favour of a Kessobahn lynch in my eyes, although as I said previously I'm more than willing to lynch Thyrllan for his evasiveness and inability to address anyone's questions.
Hood, on 29 November 2011 - 03:02 AM, said:
So after going over the thread. Abit not with a fine tooth comb. But still I did read most everything. To my eyes this two posts are the most suspicious all game. When I see something like two people who just happen to make cases on the same person and post them a little while after each other. It seems to me that it smacks of people who can talk off thread agreeing that they need to go after ________ then both of them going after that same person at the same time. Of course they will say that Kesso was scummy enough to trip both of their radar at the same time. But none the less posting cases like this trips my radar.

And for the record, I don't really believe Thyrllan's explanation of his post, which sounds just a tad convoluted. More than name-syllables thing, it's the fact that he referred to 'playing his role' rather than 'playing as someone whose name is fourteen syllables long' - to me it suggests a roled player, but unfortunately no way to know if that also means scum at this point.

Now what else do we get from the Kessobahn lynch? Well, Galain's and Atrahal's cases turned out to be so much fart on the wind, but I'm sure they'll pull out the old 'it was day 1' excuse
Out of those who voted for Kessobahn, my scum radar beeps most at Anomandaris, but I'll have to go back through his posts to find out if there's anything to back that up.

Yeah I'm obstinate bitches!!!!
I find that it was Hilarious that Ment was the first one lynched. So much for him dieing in the scene but being the first one voted out makes me chuckle. The only down side is that we didn't get Sir Thursday for his 3rd? game in a row.
