It should have been the biggest moment of his career, but Australian actor Sullivan Stapleton hasn't been able to revel in the success of his latest film 300:Rise Of An Empire thanks to a 'serious' head injury.

The 36-year-old was hospitalised after he fell from a tuktuk during a night out in Thailand, where he was filming TV series Strike Back.

While the shoot was pushed back six months to allow him proper time to recover, Sullivan was also unable to do publicity for the film that is his big Hollywood break

Cannot wait for this season though gutted it's the final one!

I find it oddly reassuring that his injury occurred, not during filming, but during a night of hard partying in Thailand.

In my head it was a tuktuk chase and there were six prostitutes and a gang of machete wielding mercenaries involved.

Definitely more appropiate for the character, you know shenanigans would have been afoot!!

90% what was in your head will be in the series...

They're the crazy trike taxi services in Thailand and places like that!

I've already seen the first 6 episodes and I won't spoil anything, but I think this is the best (or most entertaining at least) season so far.

We're up to date with 7 eps down, been another stellar season!

Funny as the guy I normally watch this show with was commenting on how he hasn't been getting laid as much!

Also rewatching the show with the girlfriend, from pretty much the first time he enters, all the way to the end of season 3, there has only been one, maybe two eps max where he didn't get his groove on, I wonder if he had to renew his contract and he lost that clause for the later seasons...

Was this a leak or did it just air earlier in some countries?

It's not a leak as we're getting it week by week here, guess it just started earlier in the UK!

Stuck with the the season finale to go, they released eps 9 and 10 on Thursday, only had the time to watch ep 9 and now am off on holiday for a week so won't get to watch the last ever ep for a while now, gutted! It's been epic, you've got some great eps coming up!

Rewatching the show with the lady and just finishing season 4 also, really good as a lot of season 4 loose ends get tied up in this season, wouldn't have realised if I hadn't been rewatching!

Sorry BK, way way behind here, just cleared ep 5. So shootout on North Korean brothel while Holding Out For Hero plays , yes. Plucky teenage character, no. Hell no. His plot line was even more predictable than what happened back in ep 4.
I'm enjoying the season, but it's been predictable as fuck so far. Virtually every eps big twist has been obvious or massively foreshadowed. Still fun tho... The action sequences have been insanely great.

Aaaaaand done!
Solid ending to a great fun series.Locke's plot line felt a bit contrived, but fair enuf.
Scott and Stonebridge got a tonne, a metricfuckTONNE of great action beats to wrap things up.

I won't so much miss this show as always be glad I watched it. ... Possibly one of the bestest 'buddy shows' I've watched, and a hell of a lot of great shooty sploody.

...tho Damien really should have gotten laid way more, just on principle.

Shit. Just remembered I never finished the last episode and I don't have Cinemax anymore.

Guns were fired, the goodguys won, Stonebridge acted righteous, Damien got laid.

You're up to date.

It's already aired here and is surprisngly good. It's much of the same but with new characters and it works. You like the original Strike Back, you'll like this.

Same basic pattern of two-episode stories, insane action, one by-the-book guy, one maverick, two effective female characters likely to die by episode 6?
