And to add to that, Strike Back season 2 is superb too, if you haven't watched it then do so, especially if you like kick ass, secret ops military action!

A really well made show!

My guy and I just love this series, last season it seemed like the actor playing Damion has it in his contract that he gets 2 lays per episode - ha ha. And people were upset at the sex in Lost Girl.

There was 2 epi for the premier. I didn't realize that till yesterday so I hope you caught them both.

HBO ran them together so yes and it was awesome.

I have to give the brits credit, this was as good or better than any american actioner tv i've seen in ages. We won't discuss canadian actioners.

Michael and Damian's buddy-act is still the bestest part of this show. Those two actors work so well together.

Damian getting laid was a running joke throughout S1 and clearly they're continuing it in S2. "A whole hour?".... HA!

The running shorts were utterly gratuitous tho', even for this show.

Does Lost Girl ever show Bo s boobs on y'all providers? I have it on SyFy ch stateside and I don't think the sex is bad.

Damien getting some every epi from a diff woman is fantastic! Lmao.

Reading the forum on SyFY site for Lost Girl it appears that there has been some editing for you guys but no, I have seen all episodes season 1 and 2 and have yet to see her boobs per say, apparently the girl on girl stuff is bothering a few posters there. Glad we have the francophones to keep up fairly wordly when it comes to sex, anyone remember "Webdreams" out of Montreal on Showcase?

what you're calling season 2 is actually season 3.

First season was a british show, based on the Chris Ryan book.

Second season (called Strike Back Project Dawn here) was a co-production between yank and brit.

Third season is also a collaboration.
meh. Link was dead :(

It's a collaboration in the sence that Cinemax is providing some funding and the NorAm distribution through HBO. All the production comes from the UK.

We never got S1 in NorAm and it still isn't available on disk. S2 was marketed here as S1, S3 as S2.
And from what i know, they majorly retooled the show between S1 and S2 anyways so there was only the thinnest of connections.

i would still like to see it one of these days tho'.

...I feel bad for Sinclair man...that would be quite a blow to take in RL.

Yeah you could tell he was pissed.
Tho he never came across as a logical successor to Col Grant last season.

The way they brought Dalton was contrived and unrealistic, especially for a show that prides itself on a certain level of military accuracy, but hey, it's a brain/off kind of television.

Plus Stonebridges arc...you could see that part coming from earlier scenes obv but fuck me my pissed radar was soaring during that shit.

I admit i was expecting

My guy will be soooo relieved - we usually wait for the 2 episode arc to be "on demand" and watch back to back, so much easier than waiting for the next week to complete that arc. Anyone know how many episodes this season?

Season 1 with Porter was class, if you haven't seen it yet - and love Season 2 - I would seriously recommend finding it.

I actually watched it after Season 2 so it acted as a good prequel to the show!

Aye, that's why it's worth a watch!

The happenings in our Season 1 - especially towards the end - do have a direct impact on your Season 1... stupid and surprising really that they didn't show it over there!

I think that the NorAm distributor looked at S2 and decided that it worked better standing alone. By most reports UK S2 is leaps and bounds better than UK S1, mostly because of the change in leads.

And they aren't wrong... I had no idea at all that NorAm S1 was UK S2 until after i had watched the whole S2 and looked up info re S3. The link is brief to the point of anecdotal and handled well enough that a viewer starting w UK S2 wouldn't have any problems.

That being said, it's doing well here and i'm surprised they haven't made UK S1 available. Probably 'fear' of confusing the poor stoopid viewers.

Latest ep 4 was awesome and then some!

SPOILERS
SPOILERS
STRIKEBACK S3 EP 4 SPOILERS
FUCK ME SPOILERS

Naturally last eps rpg round missed, but the firefight that followed was pure brilliance! Had to love the way Scott and Stonebridge broke the terrorists by advancing into them. Seriously the action in this ep was some of the best in the series. Even priestdude vs wounded terrorist was great... Ffs he stabbed him in the gutwound With A Cross!!!

Naturally Damian sheboinged Taureg lady. I was so so sure she was dead meat but she managed to survive the ep without more than about 30seconds of damsel in distress.

Great ep. Loved it. This show is on fire.

Given that we're seeing a (very, very very slightly marginally almost not quite but sort of) more mature Damian this season it's not unthinkable that he'll go looking for her at the end of the season if only for some more 'hey we're about to die' sex. That scene was hysterical.

I don't think we're supposed to like Maj Dalton very much. They're building her as a character but the whole 'she's a spook don't trust her' thing and the generally flat performance isn't exactly endearing. Plus the sex with terrorists thing. I do like how Sinclair is challenging her tho'. He at least is way more interesting this season.
I can't quite decide how i feel about the captured terrorist's decision to trigger the bomb at the end but if nothing else it was unexpected.

Blue skirt guy went out with a bang and now there's no doubt merc guy and sniper girl are the bad guys. Sniper-guy who killed Mike's wife joining them was a nice touch, if somewhat predictable.

This show also has some nice moments of real clever... the exchange between Arab doctor and Taureg lady about how occupiers never leave was actually quite deep.

Has there ever been a bad episode of this series?

The new one was quality, as always! Shit ALWAYS hits the fan with serious quality action scenes... god I love this show!

I try to do this but usually my level of psyche for a new ep is such that i can't always wait, even tho i KNOW the eps are done in 2-part sets.
