I'm horrified.

I may have to watch them again just to be sure he didn't slip a quicky with Richmond or someone when I blinked.
Surely Christie.... he was in the car with her for like nine minutes.... they MUST have done it at least twice, FFS he just saved her from the South African special forces AND Stonebridge.... that's gotta be worth a fast shag in the stolen bimmer, no?

So the four eps are all mashed up in my headmeatz, but pretty damn good overall.

Eps 7-8...Stonebridge in the police station was predictable but i did NOT expect sniper Cole to be taken out so quickly i wasn't even sure it was her.

Damian's gunfight in the hospital elevator was NUTS. The sheer speed and amount of fucked up shit that happened in seconds was matched only by his balls out fight with Hansen in the basement. You knew it couldn't be fatal for either of them but nasty even so.

Lillian's turning against Konrad was predictable but i like how it went so utterly badly for him.

Liked the twist on the hostage exchange even if it was a 'trick' played on the viewer. 'Damian says duck'. Heee...

Nice to see Baxter not being useless but i have to admit, while Dalton earned a certain level of badassery back before she took over, it was a little odd how Baxter and Richmond kept alternating between support techies and uber-commandos. Sure Section 20 is just THAT awesome, but even so it rang a bit odd.

Eps 9-10...

I liked how they set up the 3-2-1 thing.
The Nigerians are practically a cliche in action tv/film by now, but Matlock did a nice character turnaround.
Hansen predictably didn't and i liked how his plotline with Michael played out. As an aside, taking out a carload of cops by shooting behind his back with his hands in cuffs DESERVED that round of applause from the bystanders.

Dalton getting shot... given what happened to the last CO and then Major Sinclair, it was guaranteed she didn't buy it, but a little surprising all the same considering it was Knox.


Overall, totally enjoyed this season and looking fwd to the next one.

Latif. He was just overall a better badguy with more interesting plans and i loved the way he infiltrated Section 20.

Konrad's whole 'let's take over Zimbabwe, wait, no, let's nuke J-burg' thing made no sense, especially with the reveal that he wanted to punish a bank in J-burg the whole time or whatever.
They also took some silly plot swerves with Konrad - at one point he had almost a thousand men in place for a coup, handwaved when Lillian whined on tv about him.

But i will say that Kornad's sidekicks, Matlock, Cole and Hansen, were better than anyone Latif had in S2.

HBO started running trailers for S3, which starts in August. It's about 15seconds of Damian and Stonebridge shooting guns in the jungle and on riverboats and it's awesome.
There's also a quick shot of a woman Damian's going to try and make the sex with. That's an assumption on my part but it seems like fair bet because, after all, she's on the show.

Yeah it's odd since S2 started right on time with the rest of the world (no clue re S1 because i watched it all on demand).

Maybe they wanted to avoid conflicting with True Blood or something equally silly.

I'm a week behind too, but that's because I like either watching both parts in one go or on successive nights. If every other episode is going to be ending on a cliff-hanger, I'm willing to be patient. Looking forward to the new season though.
