Hope you just went to bed or something and didn't actually commit self-harm after that godawful finale.

I would consider it the single worst episode of the series ever by a long long shot. But make up your own mind, of course.

Yah, way worse than those. Let's just say, it combined pretty much every single thing I hated about this season into one big ball. But I don't wanna spend a whole bunch of time crapping on it if you liked it. Suffice to say that's where my opinion is on the spectrum.

One thing I was noticing re watching S1 is how fast the zombies were. They were using rocks to smash glass, climbing fences, etc... I wonder if they regret that now or if that was all in purpose?

I think it was on purpose. It seems that the walkers get weaker as they decay.

Spoiler

I didn't think it was too bad. A little anticlimactic in places, but kind of in a good way. Admittedly the whole episode rests on the crux of someone acting in an unbelievably stupid and counterproductive manner, and I think that could be seen as a significant weakness, but this action allowed for an otherwise unforeseen change in affairs that will, I hope, allow Season 4 to be different from previous set-ups in an interesting manner.

Yah, they'll get to run a nursing home/daycare in the midst of a zombie apocalypse.

I'm pretty excited for this season, some old favorites will be returning and some new blood will be introduced. The show has had its missteps at times but I think overall it is an interesting take on the human dynamics of the zompocalypse. I'm kind of enjoying the way the walkers have become slowly moving bits of scenery that occasionally bite someone's face off.

Who else watches and what are the theories for this season?

I really enjoyed how the prison has embraced the locally sourced food movement (with Rick serving as lead farmer). I bet their heirloom tomatoes rock!

I sense trouble on the horizon. I'm not sure if the kid died of the infection or the fall but either way, not good. Somehow I'm thinking the illness was linked to the pig, otherwise why show the pig? And if this illness is very contagious and airborne, it certainly can't help that the kid was coughing into the water supply. Like I said, trouble is coming, and these next few episodes should be awesome.

Agreed...on both counts...good show without all the drama of the Dailey grind...and bad stuff is coming

Seems like kid had ...swine flu?....something that killed him...disease and zombie reproduction..both would probably spread fast in a prison

All in all I thought it was a pretty good episode and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.
