Damn I want to click that. I will stay strong though. If anyone dies it ll be the next guest on Talking Dead. That shit lines up 85% of the time.

So do I, but I won't! The Talking Dead lineup is quite ominous. Norman Reedus (Daryl) and Melissa McBride (Carol) are the two cast member guests...uh oh! Losing either one of them would be a crushing blow and would probably cause a fan uprising! I'm busy trying to guess what's coming in the finale. I'm wondering if they'll try to exile Rick and right at that time the gang of "W" makers (I'm thinking more than one; the pile of arms, legs and torsos at Noah's home development suggested a group to me) shows up as a major threat to Alexandria giving Rick a reprieve because he's needed. But I can't see Rick going without his kids and/or the rest of his group, unless he planned to stick around on the outside because they'd stay safest inside. And would his "family" allow him to be exiled?

Man. Sasha has a nice zombie extermination business she's running on the side. Good for her.

So, I'm thinking next week's finale will see a major character killed off, one who's been on since season 1. My guess is Daryl. Posted Image

My guess based on the comics of what the cliffhanger OMG moment will be:

Don't be tempted to click this if you haven't read the comics!
Spoiler

.

Indeed, that's a pretty safe bet, and I could see them going for that cliffhanger.

No way, it's entirely too early.

Spoiler

They've stuck to the same sort of schedule of events as the comics, so I don't see why they would abandon that now.
Theorizing that one could poop within his own lifetime, Doctor Poopet led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top secret project, known as QUANTUM POOP. Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, Doctor Poopet, prematurely stepped into the Poop Accelerator and vanished. He awoke to find himself in the past, suffering from partial amnesia and facing a mirror image that was not his own. Fortunately, contact with his own bowels was made through brainwave transmissions, with Al the Poop Observer, who appeared in the form of a hologram that only Doctor Poopet could see and hear. Trapped in the past, Doctor Poopet finds himself pooping from life to life, pooping things right, that once went wrong and hoping each time, that his next poop will be the poop home.

It's a 90 minute finale, I wouldn't say no way. They can fit all that in and not seem rushed at all.

Agreed. Especially because the timeline on the TV show compared to the comics is MUCH faster.

You guys are right, I was misremembering things thinking that scene happened much later in a different scenario. I'm convinced 100% that's what's going to happen now. And all the set up so far will make for some interesting drama surrounding those particular characters.

However I dont know if the timeline is faster. Definitely has its differences. But nothing about this show can be called fast. And I am okay with that.

And the guy who plays Morgan is British! Who knew? Seriusly, usually you can hear a bit of their accents poking through, but with Morgan I can't hear it at all. Well played sir, well played.

How many Ws are there, do you think?

The 2 guys in the beginning and the 2 at the end could be the same?

I thought I had heard/read that the actor that plays Morgan was British. He does cover his accent well. And without using a southern drawl like Andrew Lincoln does. I've heard British actors say before that the southern accent is the easiest American for most to do...

I'm interested to know how Morgan went from completely insane back in S3 or S4 after he'd lost his son, to total zen master quarterstaff wizard. For those that saw The Talking Dead after, Morgan's actor (Harry something) said Morgan has experienced something that has completely changed his outlook on the world. He seemed to hint that we might get to see that next season.

The scene where Sasha laid down on the walkers in the grave was just chilling. Thought she was basically giving up at that point.

Two people showed incredible restraint in not killing someone. Gabriel couldn't even manage to commit walker suicide although he did manage to finally kill two walkers. And Nicholas, good lord did he deserve a slow, torturous death! I'm not shocked that Glenn spared him as Glenn has always leaned a little to the preservation of life side. He'd have been justified this time, though. I'm a little concerned that those two aren't back inside the compound yet. I'll be interested to see how Deanna is next season. Will Rick essentially assume the running of Alexandria as she bows out over the losses of her son and now husband? She was quick to sign off on a death sentence she had just forbidden in the previous episode, though. I think it's clear the will be war with the Wolves upcoming...

Ya, the 2 they showed were the same 2 guys.

Good Season Finale! (ps don't click that spoiler w/ my prediction up above as it didn't happen, and so might happen at some point next season) I like Chris Hardwick's suggestion that all episodes should be 90 minutes!

Damn Morgan is a badass. It looks like somewhere along his travels a blind martial arts master took him under his wing.

How long again until October?

Did anyone else catch the tiny preview of Fear the Walking Dead? They're going to show from the beginning of the virus outbreak. That will be intense! There will be so much they can do with that. If they've got some of the same writers on board and they cast well, it could be really good. Can you imagine how many "celebrity" walker cameos they could come up with? We should start a pool on that!

I kind of got the vibe that the theme of the episode was one of "sparing the life of the cowards" by those that are strong enough to function in this world. Both Gabriel and Nicholas were spared from what should have been their deaths by people who have learned in their short time in the ASZ that they need unity to survive. People amongst other people. Rick even has the them of letting new people into his family...but I love that his speech at the end was basically "If you want into my family, that's okay but things are going to CHANGE. You are all going to learn what it is to survive in this world and it is not cowardice. You'll see, I'll show you."...and then abuser dude slices the nice architect guy's neck, and Rick gets his first chance to show these new potential family members what it takes to survive in the Walker world...cold determination, and unyielding decisiveness.

Just an excellent finale all round.

Totally agree. Deanna came around quickly, with her husband still warm at her side. Now, can the A's be prepared in time? Will the Wolves outnumber and out weapon them? Will Gabriel become useful AT ALL?! (What was up with that white shirt of his not getting one drop of blood or gore on it when he finally killed? Some kind of sign?) I can see Nicholas following Glenn around like a new puppy. Assuming they make it back inside the walls. Will Morgan's new zen attitude clash with Rick's outlook right as the Alexandrians are ready to be molded into the survivalist family they need to be?

I think Gabriel might become a more contributing member of the community now that he has vocalized his torment.

Quote

The scene where Sasha laid down on the walkers in the grave was just chilling.

Yeah, the shot from the mass grave, looking up at Sasha made me think about pictures from the holocaust. Emaciated people, barely recognizable as human ... victims. I saw the walker "corpses" as humans once again, victims. Then when Sasha laid down with them, my heart almost broke.
