Likely, yes

I like it

, You've seen Komarcks version and taken a stance about it.
in that regard I'd suggest a few things...
The feel of the tusks also explain the character of the jaghut. Imagine a line up of Hood, Gothos, Icarium and the huntress. Their tusks would contrast greatly right? I take this to be a random Jaghut? if it is I'd imagine it to be old and wizened by harsh living etc thats the only common trait all jaghut have. I think you could show the wear on both the face and the Tusks more. On the face a light skein of wrinkles about the brow and a thickening of Eybrows could take you a loooong way.
I love the broken lip. the tusks you had in the first image showed a likely occurance. Tusks break in nature all the time. In regards to wear and tear google up old male african elephants. Their tusks are worn down more often than chipped or broken. This comes from digging and fighting. Jaghut I take it actually eat/Bite with their tusks so the wear down over the years should be considerable. Irregular grooves could help gnarl them up a bit. I'd instinctively say thicker and less pointy.
Yeah he looks a little botoxed, I'll try to add some evidence of the centuries
Good tip about the old elephants, I'll see what I can find. Don't know if I can make them much broader, at least not at the base but it makes perfect sense that they should be worn down/less pointy.
Thank you for the advice, helpful as always

While size-wise the second is more in line with the concept, i really liked the broken tip on the left in the first version. The cut lip is a nice touch too.
The logistics of the tusks are tricky. If you look at the obvious examples of animals that have them, wild boar, hippo and walrus tusks just seem to shove the lips out of the way and eventually form a 'crease'. elephnats have a whole other mouth structure that wouldn't anthorpomorphize well i suspect.
Without some practical adaptation, i imagine jaghut would drool a lot, which messes with the image of the race somewhat.
Haha, yeah it would probably be hard for them to retain any dignity. I agree about the logistics. My parents have miniature pigs and on the boars the tusks will sometimes grow straight through the lips, though to be fair I suspect human involvement has screwed that breed somewhat. At the end of the day I don't see how tusks of this size could grow out of an even remotely humanoid jaw in a way that would make sense, but I guess that's the beauty of fantasy
And I made it a random Jaghut specifically because I wanted a broken tusk and I couldn't remember any mention of either of our main candidates having one, so it will likely make a comeback in some form
