Now that the New Years out of the way and weve all finished our xmas chocolate does anyone have any goals they want to share for the coming year?

Mine would be to get back to the gym and get deadlift back up

I checked into Convict Conditioning on account of Apt's advice to Shin and found a training program that I can easily maintain at home, especially once I get through the first few weeks I need to make it part of my daily routine. Started on it last week, and it feels good.

I'll need to combine it with some cardio to lose a tiny bit of weight and build my condition. I plan to do some rope-skipping as I can do that on the balcony in the spring/ summer and get back to playing tennis, but before I can start on that, I will need to do some sprint training in the weekends and I really dislike that bit because it reminds me of how much my condition detoriated in the past five years.

My 'goal' is to get to and stick to a weight 2-4 kilos lighter than I am now and tone more, not to gain a ton of muscle. I've always wanted to do boxing training for excersize, but I'll need to increase stamina and be in prime condition before I'll pick that up.

No way i'm losing much weight. I played football for 15 minutes deep into extra time yesterday and my lungs were hurting afterwards. My body felt better though. Now Tuesday and Thursday will be 6 a side league matches to get me a bit more fit for next Sunday when we play the same team again in the league.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

And you're not complaining, you're criticizing. It's a side-effect of being better than everyone else, I get it sometimes too.
