We are excited to present you all with a one round game (normally Jeopardy encompasses two rounds with 25 questions each) to get everyone oriented with the game and provide you with a trial run of sorts before going whole hog and giving you the fully Jeopardy.
Before I begin, I want to thank our team of question writers who have helped put this all together for your gaming pleasure: Orb Scepter Boat (last known as Tiam), Kanese S's, Puck, JLV, TheBlindSapper, and Morgoth.
The rules are relatively simple, but must be followed to obtain points and not loose points.
1. You will get a prompt in a blue box that has a certain point value.
2. Once the prompt is posted, the first person to post a correct response will receive that point value.
3. Responses must be supplied IN THE FORM OF A QUESTION. Any responses to a prompt not in the form of a question will be treated as incorrect.
4. Each player is allowed only one response per prompt.
5. Incorrect responses will result in the deduction of the prompt's point value from that player's score.
6. The player who provides a correct response may choose the next category and point value for the next prompt to be asked.
7. Anyone can answer a prompt once it is put up. The person who selected the prompt does not have exclusive rights to be the first to answer the new prompt.
8. Scores and which prompts have been posted will be tracked on the OP, so refer here if you want an update on where the game is currently.
9. The game will end once all prompts have been asked. The player with the highest point score will be our winner.
10. We recommend that all other players give rep to the winner as a reward in addition to the bragging rights already won.
