To be honest, I have no idea what role anybody could possibly have. I'm still looking for win conditions, so I'm getting fairly desperate, and Korbas seems a good choice for several reasons, as FBI he might lead me to a win as I voted him super-early day 1.
Also, I'm hammered. Thus.

I am fucking pissed (and I wish that was drunkenness not rage). The server when down for more than just Bubba last night and we lost posts again. Like last game. And I had some good posts that I'm going to have to make up.
Ok, with that smoldering in the background, one more house keeping issue: Jack Sparrow stays, especially since you compared him to a pink, plush dragon.
Post with thoughts to come, to try to make up for the stupid fucking forum crash

Last night I was just posting this thought when the server crashed. Unfortunately, this is the abbreviated version (I am not color coding the 3 lynch tallies again, which was really nice to have for reference last night, but was lost in the fucking crash!). The second lynch really stood out and here is why (Roled, Town):
For context, on day one the lynch train was rife with roled players (I counted 4-5 among the 11 total train passengers). Then comes the day two lynch train, almost the exact opposite with all but one of the known roled players sitting out on the vote. What grabbed my attention was that Korabas and Shadow were among those roled players in the "not voted" list. That was the major conclusion I came to yesterday after running through the lynch trains (in addition to noting that Atrahal has also voted on only one day).

Ok, here's some thoughts on Serc and Anomandaris.
Serc: Bloody hell, I thought Serc would be the easier one to get a read on because of the large number of his posts, but it's almost impossible! The guy is so middle-of-the-road most of the time! One thing that really struck me, which I didn't realise before, is how he likes to quote at great length from others, and then only write a line or two of his own words, thus making it seem like his posts are far more content-filled than they actually are (this is also why I haven't included any of his quotes - originally I did, but they end up being so fucking long!). That having been said, aside from a couple of slip-ups (e.g. saying 'kill' instead of 'lynch') which could be genuine, and a LOT of urging of others to give their opinion without really supplying too many of his own, there is very little to guide opinion on him. The person he's actually stated his suspicion of more than anyone is actually Anomandaris, my other suspect, from almost the beginning of the game. Serc usually tends to latch on to suspicions and cases made by others normally thought, such as with Kalse, and this Korbas case of his based on vote times is his first real solo effort (is that the sign of a faction member who's more sure of who his own team are and who's on the other faction - perhaps).
Anomandaris: First, a couple of very early posts from him.
I don't think I read this wrong.
Early interest in the role of healer. Past games have shown us that those who tend to talk the most about a certain role end up being exactly that role. I think his surprise at having read this wrong (the cannot be jumped into actually referred to another role) could be read as disappointment, perhaps, that his role was more vulnerable than he previously thought.
After the first day, this was Ano's contribution:
And what happened to this vote? It didn't happen. It strikes me - and I know this is probably because I'm instinctively suspicious of Ano - that he was hoping others would also make a bigger deal of this and start leading the votes, which he's too afraid to do himself. Instead, he ended up latching on to the Kalse lynch.
Below is quote from....Tennes? Unfortunately I accidentally deleted the quote marks and can't be bothered to bring it up again. I will do if people insist. I've put it in quotation marks instead. This was a post examining the low posters, and Anomandaris came out as one of those with the highest number of posts, but with little to absolutely no content at the time (day 2 I think). This hasn't changed since, except that Ano's posts have become fewer and fewer.
"Anomandaris: 15 posts. Very little content. Signs in, points out the thing about the FM can't jump to healers and draws some heat. Gets some clarification about day length from PS. Jokey votes and chat about name confusion. Defends himself a bit for his comment and the idea that sorrit got de-railed onto. A little speculation about silanah and the scene."
Next, Anomandaris comes out with this. Presumably he's talking about his initial healer misdiagnosis (geddit?), but that was a long time ago, and he'd posted a bit more since then which no one had really commented on. So this looks like pre-emptive defence, and a pretty pathetic attempt to imitate a town. This is where Anomandaris really starting stinking up the place big time for me. This kind of 'cut me some slack, I don't know what I'm doing' defence (where one wasn't even necessary) seems an attempt to A) explain his absences and mostly content-less posting without really explaining anything, and
Pre-emptively excuse any and all future slip-ups he might make.
This, again, smacks of deliberate intention to me. 'Oops, forgot to vote, see how clumsy I am!' I don't buy it, I don't buy it at all.

oh and Vote kessobahn
And finally, the same thing: 'What a noob I am!' More and more Ano's been coming across as someone who's hiding something. This is once again a post which seeks to, under the surface, defend his low posting - because he would only make mistakes if he said or did anything.
Pre-emptive defence always, always stinks of a player hiding something. That and the fact that this is someone who's largely been around, judging by a few varied posting times, but has contributed next to nothing. Actually, make that literally nothing.
Out of Serc and Anomandaris:
Vote Anomandaris
Now I'll take a closer look at this Korbas business, but I am pretty satisfied with my own case right now.

You, I think, are suggesting that I and Shadow are linked because we both didn't get on the train? If that was so, then you're also suggesting thatr ALL 5 of the people who didn't vote (or, in my case, didn't get a chance to vote before the lynch went down with fucking half the day left) are in factions? As everything in the realms of probability is possible (well, in this case, it's not, as I know I'm not in a faction, yet) it may be, but that doesn't strike you as a bit unlikely?

so are you concluding that you think shadow and korabas are linked?
No. I am concluding that they are among a large population of roled players and since day 2 the roled players that we know of really backed off voting (to the point of not voting at all), I think the probability of Korabas or Shadow being roled as well is high. I don't think they're necessarily linked (on the same team, which is what you were saying right?).

So...what exactly is the case against me, again? Serc made a list of my posting times and suddenly I'm the FM? I mean...really?
I'll have to reply in more detail when I get to work, but Serc and Anomander are my top choices. I voted for Anomander on day one but the lynch swung away while I was gone, and I still feel like he is the best choice. After all the heat he got by fucking up the rules, he basically disappeared and we all forgot about him. He even said he was deliberately staying away to avoid making mistakes.
Vote Anomandaris
I'm still pretty suspicious of Serc but it seems a few people aren't willing to vote for him. The fact that he tries to tie me to some weak shit about the FM right after I made a small case against him and he drew some votes is not lost on me.

You're either the FM, or you had some night thing that made you want to stick around right after night resolved.
That 6 pm post was way outside your normal posting times. This post is a bit strange, as well.

Someone did a good job of getting the momentum off Korbas..
Could be a derail, Shadow doesn't really address my Korbas theories.

The case is another one-sentence one, but:
Motivation to stick to non-committal posts and I find it somewhat telling that he talks about killed rather than lynched. Neither Outfit nor FBI are primarily interested in killing inno's, and while they may kill town by accident, it is not their prime motive.
There is also a day 2 suspicion by Tellan that Ano was distancing from JA, which to me holds more credit than me derailing a train away from Ano (then 3 votes) to Sorrit, especially seeing how I'd have done said derailing in the first place

Ok, the people who are voting are important to me as well, since they could determine side gets people. Korabas and Shadow become Family if we hit FBI. Otherwise, if we hit Family they could go either way. Silanah is one of the four, and Korbas will only get alignment if we hit family. I really right now am going to go with
Vote Anomandaris

The reason I went with Anomandaris is I agree with Korabas' assessment. Anomandaris has said too many odd and off things with nothing redeeming to his most recent posts. If he is town, he is a bad townie anyways. If he is roled, all the better for those of us on this train.

I've had a look at your Korbas case now, Serc. You're right in that that last posting time is off his usual. From that you suggest that the alt has been taken over by someone in a different time zone. In a way, I wish you had kept this quiet a bit longer so that we could see if started a new pattern of posting in those new times, because that would be a strong suggestion that he's someone different then. As it is, there's only a couple of posts so far.
If you're right (and I want to state, at the moment I still believe my case to be stronger, it being based on actual posts and all), then Korbas would have had to be in a faction from the very beginning. So can you perhaps link him with anyone else - in his last couple of posts did he do something a bit different to usual? (I know it would be unlikely to be that blatant).

Now, I want to talk about tomorrow ahead of time, because I think tomorrow is D-day. Since it will be probably 5 votes to lynch, whichever alignment we end up with, we will need to have coordination with that team (possibly some reveals) and get on the ball with cleaning up the remaining opposing team. Hopefully night will do that for us, but I am not counting on it. For those townies still out in the cold, we hopefully can get them in on the lynch of the remaining opposing team so that their win conditions can be in line with ours, giving more people a victory. Agreed? Good thoughts?
