What the fuck?
Bloody hell it's in code!
I have translated 大禹治水 as Dayu courtesy of Goggle Translate so it probably actually means Cheese or moon or something.
Wiki says legendary monarch of the Xia Dynasty was Yu the great so does it have something to do with those pesky Yu's I wonder. God I didn't realise code breaking skills were required. It's going to be something well obvious isn't it and i'll be getting it all totally wrong.

Night 2 Provisional
Illuminate Yong An
Also, just to verify, everyone on my team in Jiang Xia got the message on who was there last night. Correct?
It's not who was there last night, it's who is there at Dawn. Basically you set up at night an Illumination to occur at Dawn, sorta... so then at the following Dawn whoever is there gets the same list you got.

Hi, I've been studying the NA charts (bloody hell), do I have this right? If both my alts are in the same location, they are basically invulnerable to kills or finds from adjacent locations? They could only be killed if there was someone in the same location trying to kill one of them?
I had other questions but I've already forgotten how the other flow charts worked, sigh....

Oh, only if they're using a find or a kill themselves actually. Has to be the same action being used. Hmmm. I'm trying to work out whether it's best to keep my alts together or apart.
Beneficial NAs always go through, correct? So for instance, if I heal one of my alts with the other, and they're in adjacent locations rather than together, that heal will go through no matter what (unless the healer is being guarded)?
As long as I use kill, I'm invulnerable to kill NAs directed at me from other locations?
Bah, either way I present twice the target to others. Only one has to die for both to die, and I can only protect one at a time myself.
Yes, you will not block beneficial actions for your team, so heals are never blocked and you won't block your own team's finds, but you will block a friend from killing or guarding you or your teammates.

Ok, I have no idea what the fuck any of these game rules means!
Well feel free to ask for explanations on stuff you are unsure on. That's what I'm here for, after all.

I cannot BELIEVE how people are latching onto me for signaling and then somehow that makes me an Emperor.
It looks like I may have to take some drastic action if I start picking up votes. I am realizing how badass my role is....
If I have to I think my ultimate fallback plan is to Move to Jiang Xia to be with Tennes so that I can switch to Military Official; if that succeeds, I'll have to semi-reveal and try to get Tiam lynched, then use my Kill ability to hopefully block any NKs directed my way.
If I get off the hook and escape the lynch I think I need to still Move to Jiang Xia. It was stupid of me not to do this on the first day. That way I can use my Notice ability and get some info out to my Emperor and whoever else is hanging around at home base. Damn, damn.

Ok, observations: first of all, I want to say that I picked up on Osseric's signal yesterday with the Fu Man Shu (Shu being associated actually with Lu, as another player points out later in the game without vocalizing Osseric's signaling). I wonder if Gamelon caught this too, though he was the exact same role as myself, so he would have known Osseric anyways.
Sir Thursday, sad to see you go teammate. Will pull this together, and hopefully we can tease out some bad guys from your crazy first day.

Ignore this PM PS. Self note:
well, if we are to follow history (a tad of a risk, but still)
the 3 kingdomw were Wei (largest), Wu, and Shu
transposed onto the current makeup, we'd get:
wei=Xia (claim succession from the original Han dynasty, lost their chance to unite China at the battle of red Cliffs/Shang Yong (see game 4))
Wu=Yan (the souther kingdom, Huang river being the border)
Shu=Lu (the smallest, protected by numerous mountain passes on the border with Wei)
historically, Wei conquered Shu. then Sima Yi took over for Cao-Cao's descendants, and his dynasty conquered Wu.
by that logic, Sima Yi would be hiding amongst Wei (Xia)
although I agree that game-wise it'd make more sense to stick him with Yan.
You comparison of realms is off. It's not about what lands are whose, it's about the characters.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.
