Damn... Miss another lynch cause of an early hammer. I'll wait for CF before posting on the game... Though based on that last Tulas post... We might have done a boo boo.

Yeah but come on logging on 30 mins before, the best that could have happened is that we ended with no lynch instead of lynching him. Which is not as helpful as if he had stepped in earlier and changed the train if he actually had something worth while to say. Lynchs hardly ever go to time. If you have something to say don't wait till the last second.

The mood in the inn has gone from one of terror to one of whimpering silence. The few whispered conversations are all that cut through the incessant sound of rain. Is it raining still? Perhaps the dark outside is simply night. Perhaps the roar is simply in your head?
To your left sits Tulas Shorn, his head resting in his hands. You can hear how he whimpers about the storm. Begging it to stop. If he hears it too it can't just be a hallucination, or could it?... Maybe it can. Maybe it's a collective hallucination, like one of those you read about in Illustrated Science. How would you know?
You stare at Tulas' balding head. Perhaps... Perhaps if you open it. Cut it open all gentle like, near the top. The rain might be taken by surprise and not be able to hide in time. If you discover little clouds, all sinister and pregnant with water hovering about in there you will know you are still sane. You'll be careful too. Tulas wont have time to complain and when its done he might just thank you for chasing away those clouds. Maybe he will even stop that annoying whimper.
Tulas Shorn (twelve) is dead. He was Innocent

You can also wait until 3-5 min before lynch deadline to hammer, especially with 2 other people around able to hammer. He might have revealed finder/healer, he might have had info for us. Thats why you wait. Hammering early, before giving someone a chance to talk only helps scum.
EDIT: added "deadline"

Waiting till the last second to reveal does the same thing(helps the scum). Your right he could have had info for us, but if we find out he is a finder(or any other role) we still have to either kill him to verify the info or leave him and go to night without a lynch because there is little time for someone to pop up with a counter reveal. I admit i thought tulas had posted a lot more recently and i should have double checked before i voted. But waiting till the last minute to share may get the info out there but it still results in an action that is not beneficial to town.

I'm not saying we shouldn't have lynched him...even if he did reveal as roled. But any info that the inno's get is good info at this point. ESPECIALLY info that comes from an Innocent CF. So even if he revealed finder, and we lynched him, his inno CFwould have helped give us direction. (granted he could have been a symp, but i still err on the side of having to decide if the info is good or bad, rather than not getting it at all.)
Edit; X-post with Korlat. Ya, was a mistake

You sit huddled around the fire, trying to ward of the wet chill with your gathered heat. No matter how much you throw on the fire, be it logs or men, you still cannot seem to keep the cold out of you. It seems to cut through the skin right into the very bone.
And so you sit together. Huddled for warmth.
Outside the rain falls.
"Hey" Someone whispers in your ear. You flinch and start turning when the voice hisses again. Urgently.
"No. Don't look. They'll see"
You barely manage to keep still. Fixing your head rigidly towards the fire. The voice seems vaguely familiar, which is disturbing in its own right. You know everyone here by now. You watch the flames flicker and for a moment you think they're about to die. An intake of breath from all around turns into a sigh as a flame comes back to life, pulling the rest in its wake.
"Hey". This time you stay still.
"I need to tell you something"
"What?"
"Shut up" the voice hisses.
"Shut up shut up" You can't tell if it's anger or fear you hear, but it makes you keep silent.
"Do you know what this rain is?" It's calmer now. The voice. Almost serene.
"It is the ocean."
"Sure, it doesn't look like the ocean. But it is. That is where we are. Beneath the sea". For a moment it stops, as if hesitant, but after a few seconds the voice continues its droning monologue. Kalse. The voice belongs to Kalse. Or so you think. It's not entirely right, as if it comes from far away, or deep down.
"Do you know what the ocean is? Of course you don't, how could you?" A wet gurgle reach your ears sounding all too much like someone trying to laugh while drowning.
"The sea is older than this world. It is older than mountains and forests and deserts. It is the memories and dreams of time. And beneath the ocean, where we are right now, lies that which is beyond even time."
"Do you understand? That is not dead which eternal lie."
"What?..." You sort of feel it's expected at this point.
"Shut up shut up!" He grabs hold of your neck and pulls you close. His hand is freakishly strong. And cold. So very cold. Pressed against his damp clothes the smell of brackish water assaults you like something solid.
"That is not dead which eternal lie. Do you understand"
"I don't.."
"SHUT UP! Beneath time the dead dream of our world. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" The pain in your neck almost makes you pass out. The world grows fuzzy around the edges and tears squeeze out from your tightly shut eyes. The salt burns your skin.
"Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" Kalse roars.
"He dreams, but he sees. Open your eyes. See what he sees!" The pain is all you can feel. Beneath his hand your spine bends and you scream.
"See what he sees!" Kalse roars once more but you hardly hear over the pain. You scream again. Louder this time.
"Open your eyes!"
Your eyes open. Sitting together you see eleven men huddling for warmth around a dying fire.
Kalse (Grief) is dead. He was Innocent.
And so you sit together. Huddled for warmth.

I pretty much agree with what you're saying here, but.... did you just become Yoda or something? Day 1 - refer to self in third person. Day 2 - insert "penguin" at random places. Day 3 - talk like Yoda. Except sometimes you don't use "penguin"...
Anyway. I plan to go back through Kalse's posts too, hopefully there is something important we can dig up. It's too bad we didn't get to hear from TS before the hammer, though.

found has been through the posts of Kalse and this is what Thyrllan has Thyrllan:
- 1 voted Karatallid early on day Kalse, Telas led to lots of back and forth between Kalse and which. case accused Telas of not contributing anything other than a bad Kalse, Karatallid led to Telas vociferously dismissing Kalse's vote on which. time went on for a long This.
- times and Telas also argued about Tulas Shorn's early request to have people stand in front and behind him at all Kalse, Shorn Telas thought it might be a signal calling for a healer to protect Tulas where. correct Telas was if, finder what is the likelihood that Tulas Shorn was a then?
- inno also upbraided Telas for pointing out for all and sundry that someone could be a roled Kalse (Tulas this case, Osseric, who did later reveal, not in).
- argument day 2 Kalse had his second big on, Anthras time with this. play Anthras of being a symp due to Anthras' aggressive Accuses. everyone has a long post in which he goes through Anthras' interactions with Kalse, symp comes up with Tulas Shorn as being Kalse's primary suspect for killer with Anthras his and - OOPS!
- were other suggestions for master based on Anthras' interactions Kalse's: Shadow, Silanah, Emurlahn, and Barghast - them because Anthras was friendly with Barghast, them and Emurlahn because Anthras had not really mentioned Silanah, style Shadow because Anthras had commented they were suspicious more than once but had not followed this up in his expected and inimitable aggressive and.
- Finally, Korlat had late suspicions about Kalse, content Kalse said was playing under the radar by posting fairly frequently but only short posts without much who.
this feels that out of all of Thyrllan, suspicions we are to follow up on Kalse's if, thought-out suppositions regarding Anthras' master were the most well Kalse's, bitch-fest his equally long disagreement with Telas was more of a whilst.

But yeah, I agree, feels like longer, mostly thanks to that day 1 where we got loads of info (and the forum rollback also helped as I think it extended the timer by around 7 hours, finishing day in the evening yesterday instead of the end of the afternoon).

You did quite some legwork there, so thanks

One thingie: while I agree it is worthwhile and necessary to track this back, especially since Grief most definately played well and reasoned instead of like a raving lunatic, let's not focus solely on him, hmm?
Your post is decently constructed, well researched and logical, but wifom nonetheless.
Kalse fingered "only" 8 out of 14 players according to your post/ in his posts, of whom 7 out of the current 12 are still alive. So while he definately may have struck a mark and that may have killed him, the amount of finger pointing he did might equally have made it worth killing him as there is no single clear path of accusation/conflict to examine, like there would be if, say, Fener bit it, as that would lead to D'riss, who's being porked (

If we fully dedicate ourselves to following his train of thoughts, we'll be busy for the the entire day at the least with very few definate conclusions, only 1 lynch CF - any killer not on this suspect list would get a free ride for that time (one of Osseric, Karatallid, D'riss, Fener and yourself, of whom Osseric is more or less PI until counter claimed).
Speaking of Osseric: if you want to tell us, who did you guard?
Also, Thyr, your latest speach impediment sucks donkey balls. Are you allowed to end and start your sentences with the same word, like in a telegram, perhaps using STOP or something, so we can easily gloss over it without losing your meaning?
