Also, food for thought:

THE CONTEST III lasted 50 days. Me and DW were the last ones standing

THE CONTEST IV lasted 54 days. I believe there were 6 people still in when we reached the cutoff date.
in the last contest, 10 people made it past day 7.

we are currently 13 strong in day 8.

this seems to get more challenging all the time.
