A general question to everybody: have any of the discussions on this board over the years changed your mind any, either on particular issues or in the general thrust of your political compass?

I haven't done this political compass chart.
But I would say that without a doubt that I've become a lot more open minded and the like over the years, and I attribute that almost entirely to being on the forum, as none of my meat world people are heading in that direction

I find this somewhat odd.

I would have expected myself to be a bit more authoritarian and centered

Last time I did that thing I was pretty close to the bottom left corner. Closest political leader was Gandhi, which tickled me.

I can accept it, though I expected myself to be higher up towards the authoritarian side of the left.

I guess the survey doesn't ask enough questions about the guillotine or the gulag.

About where I thought I was politically. I’m usually more authoritative though as I believe the goverment has rights for sure too.
