Underworld is split into three parts for some reason - part 3 is the annoying one because Kirito comes back into play. It's fun but dumb. There's one scene with Leafa which is meant to be high drama but unintentionally becomes hilarious.

Best advice I can give with it is don't take it seriously. It's kind of like pre-stormbad branderson - quick, popcorn zoomies without too much depth but some big setpieces. And some of the best Engrish ever to grace the small screen.

I wish the above examples were me taking the piss but no they are actually in the dialogue for Underworld. I have typed it as it is spoken without any offensive intent.

So this week's AOT was pretty interesting... A new faction emerges and at the end we see Pieck in the background. And it looks as if there is going to be a convergence soon at the restaurant.

Slimes probably going to fail at it's new formula.
Beastars is getting more interesting as time goes on.
Log horizon, im up to date and things are finally making sense. I do enjoy how we are getting exposition is a puppet show... its so fitting for the setting.

They're being really cryptic about Yelena's and Floch's machinations (which might be two different things, too), but it sounds like the Marleyan chef guy isn't necessarily as innocuous as he seems, either, so him + Hange/Jean/Connie/Armin/Mikasa + Sasha's family with Gabi/Falco + the Marleyan titan team all being different factions in one place. Convergence indeed!

Though I think next episode will just be playing with Gabi/Falco trying to avoid being recognized by Hange's crew, perhaps asking chef guy for help and getting dragged into whatever conspiracy he is part of. I don't think Pieck or the other Marleyan titans will show up/do anything yet, unless it's in the last 10 seconds as a hook into the next episode.

Yes its a perfect fit for LH's goofiness. Really, more series should do puppet show recaps/asides. And then it can evolve into entire episodes being actual Thunderbolt Fantasy-esque puppet shows!

It's a show about a middle-aged guy reincarnating in a fantasy world and perving on pre-teens (and his young-adult magic instructor who just-so-happens to look like a pre-teen). Of course nothing wrong with media about bad people, but this revels in it and encourages the audience to be titillated by the pervy action, too. It's gross.

Wow, Spider Isekai actually finally had an interesting development... probably. It doesn't magically make the half-dozen boring episodes it took to get here worth it but at least it's something. Pretty much all speculation but I'll put it in spoiler tags anyways for the curious:

The latest episode reveals that Kumo being a spider in the dungeon isn't happening at the same time as the kids in fantasy school - the egg Kumo found was Fei, so she hatched from her spider egg right around the same time all the isekai'd humans were babies. So the speculation is that in the past-in-the-dungeon half of the story she will level up so much she can change shape/build a new body and becomes the demon lord girl we see in the future timeline. Demon lord has an 8-legged-like costume and spider-silk-like powers, after all. The teratect julius killed in the dungeon could be her old body she left behind or some such.

And if that is indeed the case she *might* be on a genuine evil revenge-quest / Overlord sort of situation.

and on top of that, now we found out the higher ups are potentially gona turn into titans soon.... this mid season finale is gona be a huge holy shit moment. I did like how we managed to get some of levi's inner thoughts. Erens transformation this whole season is something else.
