The entire time i was expecting one of those senior demon slayer to come out of nowhere save the day like the other 2. That didn't happen at all, and the entire time, i thought our MC was legit going to die as we've already established these guys DO GET INJURED AND NEED TO RECOVER. Fantastic use of tension and animation.

D'rek makes an interesting point about incredibly scenes in the last few years. Can't say any come to mind but then again not something i look for per say.

Im still not over how amazing the wire is though so anime as a whole has become kinda meh for me.

I've never seen her personality as braindead - she's mute because of the bit she wears to prevent herself being tempted by human flesh, and she's a sleepo beepo because that's the only way she can recover energy.

In other incredible anime scenes... The final concert in Your Lie, and the word that the MC finishes it with. Oh my fucking god. I'm still not ready to revisit that.

So to be flat honest a lot of Kimetsu no Yaiba has impressed me and I loved the latest episode but I still have several scenes in mind I enjoyed more purely due to my taste in aesthetic, BNHA for example still carries the most drama in a fight screne, but Kimetsu really ties it all together better than most. well done to themon setting themselves apart!

I enjoyed Dr Stones latest episode (but the Jojo character sorta spoils it), I hope they get another child prodigy to fill the antagonist role. it sorely needs a bigger more dynamic cast.

EVERY flame imbued scene we get from Fire Force has been stunning for me and there's been so much Character development in Vinland Saga...(the scout scene tore at me). I can honestly say I'm loving ALL these shows equally right now and they all seem to be "revving at the starting line." I think from a perspective of spectacle, There's no fight that will ever compare with Sword of the Strangers final exchange but full marks to Kimetsu for giving it their all.

As a fan of anime, I feel this is a remarkably top tier season.

You'll have to pirate it. Darkanime is my go-to for stuff I can't get on CR - I have Hensuki, Arifureta, Danberu on there, and just picked up Maidens in Their Savage Season.

I'm enjoying demon salyer, not as good as they hype this forum led me to have but I like it. I'm very curious what a black sword means. I do like the two new characters being added as we need character depth after a point but for now they are too one dimensional. The one characters fear needs to be tempered with some courage which I'm sure it will and the other characters desire to just fight everything needs to be tempered with some intelligence, also obviously coming. For now they are annoying though.

I had thought the main charcters ability to connect with the spirits/souls of the dead would be unique and his defining trait but it seems others do it all the time too. I do like how he often connects with demons after they are dead. I wonder if this maybe become more important later.

Doesn't make the episode 19 sequence any less amazing, but c'mooooooooon. There were better ways to show-off Giyu being cool (and he was very cool) than to take away Tanjiro's accomplishment. And what is this "cut off my own head so you can't" bullshit? Why does it matter who cuts the head off? If it does, why don't powerful demons just always go around with their heads pre-cut-off so they can't be killed (except by sunlight and poison)?

demons can only die from sunlight or from sunlight swords (and apparently wysteria flowers). So if their heads are cut off by regular swords or anything else its not fatal. However I don't think we need to be literal about the cut off the head part. If you cut a demons already decapitated head in half I'm sure that counts as death. We have seen tanjiro decapitate a demon with his wood axe and the head just grew arms and didn't care.

Saori Hayami is one of my favourite VAs. Very distinctive voice and very prolific.
