Also, I was hoping that it would continue on from Darksiders 1 and that awesome ending, but apparently it isn't.

I would like to point out that you're not actually seeing the Biblical Death. You're seeing a warrior who is the avatar of death making out some kind of order of the apocalypse.

This is not the biblical apocalypse. It's a bunch of cartoon angels and demons having a fight over who's the best.

I liked the Darksiders II trailer. As for not continuing War's story, that's pretty obvious, and stated numerous times since Darksiders' release. What I'm hoping for is them making Death play differently than War. Also, it would be nice if it was a bit more ambitious than another Zelda reskin.

As a final word, WTB new Legacy of Kain game.

Making the new episodes look brilliant is impossible in any realm; there's just too much crap, gathered like moss, all over those movies. It's just not gonna happen.
Anyways, I'm definitely cautiously optimistic about TOR. If nothing else, I'll probably enjoy the single player aspects of it, like the class stories and whatnot, but, as has become increasingly prevalent in the last few years, struggle with the mindless retards whose numbers appear to be legion. We'll see what happens.

I must say two things watching Microsoft's presentation:

Ryse looks interesting at least.

Fable The Journey or whatever's the name seems like it has a very fun magic system. Looks like someone played Magicka a lot -_-

That's marketing, though I have to say some of the upcoming games really make me changy my mind about Kinect. I'm totally not digging Kinect implementation in Mass Effect 3 though - is THAT why my game's delayed? Fuck you!


Skyrim footage: looks incredible, if somewhat more action-oriented than I'd expect from Elder Scrolls. Also the guy only mentioning three factions makes me a sad panda.
I also really hope that radiant thingy will work. I'd rather be able to silence all witnessess. I'd also like to know more about the stealthing, as it'll probably be the most fun playthrough for me (WTB THIEF 4 NAO)

Yeah, I know, that was just my hate of Kinect coming through. And I get that they have to force it, after spending so much on it, but everything I've seen of Kinect so far, has been terrible. That Star Wars demo...

Arkham City looks great, can't wait for October.
Skyrim look pretty sweet, too, but Elder Scrolls games aren't my thing. Oh, and "Here we see the undead who live in these ruins." was pretty cool...

More Mass Effect 3 - and it was epic, if short.
The new Need For Speed looks FUCKING INTENSE.
Even that snowboard thingy looks very nice.


they totally blew it with The Old Republic - just recut the existing trailers into one new trailer. No wonder, I doubt MMO gameplay would be exactly 'thrilling'.

Ghost Recon getting shelved and restarted from the ground up is interesting, but doesn't really affect me. Especially seeing as people are apparently still complaining despite the changes (some saying it was better before....unpleaseable, much?) and it wont' be released until next year anyway.

Far Cry 3 is interesting...not buying the "character development is important" crap. Too much hype, not enough likelihood of truth. Characters in games are difficult to do, and just giving them good dialogue and decent motivations is not enough to make them 'good' characters.

What else....Skryim looking more and more action-y. But I guess that's to be expected. Moderately underwhelmed by the animation improvements. They're a lot better than Oblivion's, but they still look a tad awkward by modern standards. I'll live. XD

Battlefield 3 so far? Kicking the ever-loving-hell out of Modern Warfare 3. And 'Call of Duty: Elite'. EA/DICE are going all out on this one, and it seems to be reflected in the game. Probably the best thing at the show, right now.
