That post makes me ridiculously happy.

Richard Rahl tried to give up his title, but the Goodkind goodfolk have D'harian link to him!

Ok ok. I await the Knight Commander's approval but I believe this should be the plan of action:
- Apt shall recieve a generic courtesy email from Goodkind's Goodfolk once a week -- who composes the message is not important, as long as the text itself is convincing
- The inclusion of an ebook in said email is not always necessary -- it is my opinion that we hold back on the ebooks and only send one every now and again in order to keep things believable
- Trolling shall commence in a similar, believable fashion to anyone who replies to High Seeker Kitty, as Apt has suggested.
I shall draw up a new schedule in the original post upon approval of this plan.
I would also like to say that Apt should always be addressed as Battle Plaptypus -- too much familiarity may be suspicious.

I'm happy with this idea Knight Seneschal, my only question is this - At what point to we consider the Operation a success and cease with trolling Apt?
I am happy for a long-term operation regarding Goodkind's Goodfolk however at some point we need to let Apt go.
Also, Quicktidal's email was sent from the goodkinds.goodfolk email address - it still fits in with the current plan as it was an offer for gold membership and didn't address anything specifically. It was really nicely written in fact

I believe that we should eventually just let it fade out, unless we get discovered beforehand of course -- I think we'll know when the time is right.

Regardless of whether or not Operation Goodkind is still active, when the new book comes out in August, we should do something to everyone on The List that's posted in the Sword of Truth Survivor thread, like a celebratory thing for the book's release. As long as we haven't been revealed, that is.

The homepage does show posts from Tairy's facebook page - only you can see it though since Goodkind's Goodfolk has him as a 'friend' so to speak.
I went and made friends/joined all the 'important' Tairy groups etc. Can I just say that Tairy is such a douche.

Are any of the people commenting on the FB page actual fans? If so we have created a MONSTER! But a hilarious one, so that's totally okay.

I feel I should reply to Apt's latest email. What sort of things should I say to keep it in line with our long term plan?

Perhaps express regret. Attempt to plead with him but without looking unprofessional and encourage the passing on of the email -- possibly enquire after a suitable replacement?

How about this
Yes it is unfortunate that you are not a fan of Goodkind's oeuvre. I was excited about having you on board as 'Goodkind's Mortal Sword Battle Plaptypus.' You seem like a good and intelligent person and perfect for the liason role.
I wonder if I might be able to answer your concerns about the books. Terry Goodkind is a well respected and talented author so I cannot understand how his story telling was not 'proper.' I and many others think it is utterly engrossing. Piers Anthony and Marion Zimmer Bradley certainly had no hang ups with it. The philosophy is central to what Goodkind is doing in the books. Far from 'nonsense', it is not only part of a legitimate movement, but is RATIONAL and EFFECTIVE. I personally have found it a great help in my everyday life, and am convinced that if more people followed it the world would be a better place. Rape is horrible and understandably difficult to read about, but it's to Goodkind's credit that he refuses to shy away from it. There is 'too much' of it in the real world, and this is a problem that needs to be faced up to. I applaud Goodkind for doing so.
Please do carefully consider my words. Also if you're up for it why not try reading his books again? A second read through may change your mind! You know how to find me if you do.
I'd like to thank you for your willingness to help us despite your current feelings about the books. This is very big hearted of you. Please send me a link to your post. Hopefully it will serve as a rallying cry for the Goodkind fans on your forum.
Regards,
- High Seeker Kitty.
