Very good stuff -- perhaps change some of those 'I's to 'we's to better reflect Goodkind's Goodfolk as a whole?
@QT
There are several people from TQB commenting on facebook as well as some of Loki's personal friends. Currently I am administrating the facebook page while the Knight Commander is busy and as I say, all of your help in spotting things that need attending to is much appreciated. I once swore a vow never to use facebook but I am following the Knight Commander's orders for the glory of the Team.
I actually think I have a facebook account because someone set it up for me, though I've never seen it and nor do I have any plans to.
EDIT: Ok, I never actually swore a vow, it's more of an unspoken vow -- I said that because it sounds noble but I would swear one; I could if you wanted me to?

Speaking of FB, I created an acct for "Richard Gallagher", the gmail acct I used for this operation and requested to join the Goodfolk group. Perhaps that will further confuse Apt if he ever looks...

Fake people or fake fans?
I think there are four fake people - then there a couple of friends of mine pretending to be TG fans. The rest are people that asked to join the group.

Not that I've done anything as yet. But I'm there.

OK, looking at the posts on the 'Liaison' thread, what do we do about this Myshkin? I mean, we apparently chose Apt because of his large post count and his seemingly good standing in the forum -- I've never even seen Myshkin until today so I don't believe there's any reason GG should have chosen him over Apt.
All that said, GG isn't monitoring the Malazan Empire forums, at least not closely, so there's no reason for us to try to contact Myshkin personally. I say we wait and hope that he contacts us or that Apt suggests him to us.
On a different note, is there anything that needs doing on facebook? Do you think I should say something, and if so, what? I don't want to say anything too random and suspicious just out of the blue but I also don't want to appear suspiciously quiet...

Don't take on Myshkin. I'm amazed he even still frequents the forum, let alone posts. Man's a troll of epic proportions. Been a few flame battles in some threads, mostly on the Erikson criticism front. And I was sorely tempted to ban him back then. Prick. Unfortunately I wasn't an admin at the time, I believe. :S

We could add him to the list, for later when we have become more powerful? On the basis that he has offended our beloved resident mod-god.

We'll take no notice of him unless he contacts us. If he does that, then we'll have to decide whether to use him and how, otherwise how we're gonna let him down.
EDIT: Who started the blog, by the way? It's, uhm, incredibly sarcastic and certainly quite clear, at least to me, that the author has no love for Goodkind's work. My question is whether that kind of blog is something that GG -- as a serious, Goodkind-loving organisation -- would want to be associated with?
My other question is where do we see the blog going?

Been doing a little research on Mr Goodkind as I'm not very familiar with him, to be honest -- oh man, what a moron!
EDIT: HAHAHA -- look at the first review here: http://www.rateitall...y-goodkind.aspx

If we want the blog too look more "official", I'm not above doing some research work for content/smokescreens galore.

The Sword of Truth isn't just a series, it's a lifestyle choice. Check this shit out:
http://www.terrygood...com/rules.shtml
I particularly love the apparent contradiction between rules 3 and 6:
rules 3: passion rules reason, for better or worse
rule 6: the only sovereign you can allow to rule you is reason
Cross-referencing them, by allowing reason to rule you you'll just be setting up a puppet sovereign ruled by passion.
If anyone has got to book 6, does Tairy bother to address this problem?

That website is all kinds of special. The FAQ and Fan questions section are riotous and I can't wait to see what "The Oracle" section is going to be. I have seen the face of dementia and laughed my ass off

Our Tairy doesn't like to blow his own horn, does he:
How did he get published?
"After I finished WFR I wrote to the best agent in the country...he thought it was the most remarkable manuscript of the decade and at once accepted me as a client. He showed the manuscript to three publishers. They all wanted the book. WFR sold at an auction to TOR at a record price that still stands."
subtext: bow before me I am the fucking king.
Haven't read the series yet?
Tairy recommends you begin with WFR: "To get you hooked, which you will be."
"26 million readers (and growing) can't be wrong!"

Eh, sorry, that would be me. I substituted actual knowledge of the series for sarcasm and blind fanaticism. I think the e-mail I wrote might possibly be worse.

What you wrote on the blog was really funny and had me laughing. The praise for Zedd's uselessness and comparison to Gandalf was hilarious. Unfortunately because of the tongue-and-cheek tone some people over on Apt's thread suspect the blog may be a joke, which hurts our credibility as a legitimate group. Probably it's best to change it, if it's not too late. Though I don't like to delete good comedy.
I really appreciate all the effort you put into setting the blog up as well Mott.
