Champion is definitely a Tank spec. Your DPS will suck, but you'll have guard at all times, and will never die.

True, though I usually fight with Blackwall at the moment and I have noticed he is a Champion so I could use him as that and then become a Reaver... Or does Reaver suit mages better?

Reaver is warrior only. If you want to see specs for other classes, your teammates have them.
Reaver can pack quite a punch, but it's a date with danger. You'll be draining your own health pretty fast.

Reaver is as it was in DA:O - You do higher damage the less health you have. It's a case of drop HP and then hope you can generate enough Guard (and get enough Barrier) to not die.
Templar seems to be the middle ground - you get some survivability talents as well as high-damage abilities against mages/demons.

I've begun a replay of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I thought now was the right time. Close enough to the spring release of Mankind Divided that the events of the game will be fresh but far enough away that I wont burn out doing two Deus Ex games in a row.
Despite being some 4 years ago I played it, the game feels familiar. I remember the characters and I recall various secret hiding places and secret loot. One thing that does surprise me is how cool the games design remains but unfortunately graphically, specifically the character textures, the game hasn't aged well. Even playing on Ultra with all the settings on max the game looks old.
I find myself falling into exactly the same play style as the first time I played it. I am meticulously scavenging every inch of an area and will dispatch every single enemy (or ally) by doing non-lethal take downs. Not a single point of experience or credit must go to waste. I am only in the first city hub but I already have 25,000 credits and my hacking, strength and vision is pretty buffed.
It really is surprising how broken the AI is in this game. I can just sit behind a wall and take out one enemy after another, as they one by one walk up to my last known location.

Wellp, the XB1 bundles including Gerald of Riveting 3 are all gone. My local Game has a few of the GoW bundles left so I'm going to try and get that - failing that I'll have to get a Fifa one and sell the code on to a friend.
Turns out as well that CEX part-trade the 360 version of DAI for more than it costs to buy the XB1 version, so I'm going to do that later as well so that come Sunday I have a nice Meaty to sink my teeth into.

During a drunken Steam visit I bought Call of Duty's "World War II Bundle". I've finished the first two and I have to say, compared to the newer CoD games, CoD I is hard as hell. Took me a couple of hours to manage to complete both the "Defend the Bridge" and "Pavlov's House" levels on hardened. During the latter I actually had to abandon my "play in the spirit of the game" strategy and had to find a nice, sheltered kill spot inside the house instead of actually trying to prevent soldiers from entering the house in the first place. I think I spend more hours on those two levels combined than on a full campaign of one of the newer instalments of series.

Got to Tuchanka and unlocked the Grael Spike Thrower and Phaeston. I'm loving the Phaeston with 6 levels of Incendiary Ammo and Adrenaline Rush. When the Harvesters show up I hit them with Warp then Incinerate (Liara and Edi), then empty the Phaeston into them, hit AR for the immediate reload and empty the Phaeston again, dead Harvester.

I bought the COD bundle way back when World at War was the newest game on the branch. I remember really liking the early games, especially COD 2. I Wonder how much more dated those games might feel to play today?
I think I will download COD1 after I've played Black Ops 3 this year and see how jarring the contrast is.

The first ever COD was amazing. I loved the 3 different soldiers you play as & the different types of levels (though the tank level in Russia was well hard! Actually most of the Russian ones were - you started with no weapons and just had to survive!)

People still play that, theres bunch of servers working and its not even problem to find pcw match. If looking for more serious, ranked matches, there is cybergamer which should be ok (I dont have key, so no experience with that), tho clanbase is not working anymore. Main problem with servers and pcw matches are cheaters, theres so many of them (cg should be cheat-free)...its really annoying

Tried theme hospital again for old time sake there at the weekend.
Just not fun anymore, I think I've lost interest in games full stop.
I bought a ps4 last Christmas and finished the order 1886 (terribly dull and linear, pretty though) and logged maybe an hour, possibly 2 on Far Cry 4 and haven't switched it on since.
I'll still give Rome a bash no and again but nothing seems to hold my interest like games used too.

I'm having trouble too. There's nothing wrong with Witcher 3, but I've not been inspired to play for weeks now. I put Bloodborne on as there will be new dlc in November, but I'm into newgame+, and much as I love the game, I don't have the incentive to do it all again.
I like the look of Fallout 4, but I'm already doubting that it will hold my attention for long.. or how long it will take before I feel like I've done it all before.

I just don't have the time anymore.
I feel Witcher 3 and other RPGs need sessions of a couple of hours to be meaningful, especially when advancing the story and not doing side-quests, and I only have that time once a week. RTS games require high concentration/attention and I seldom have an hour without any interruption. TBS & stuff like Hearts of Iron, EU IV or Football Manager are probably the best, because I can pause them, walk away for an hour and come back and resume without any issues, making them ideal for days on which the GF is doing her thing and I can do mine up to a degree.

I've start on Mass Effect 3 - this is my first foray in this franchise. It seems interesting so far, but I am playing on the Action setting.
