back to diablo III. had unfinished business there, and with the plummeting of item prices and severe nerfing of inferno I might just finish it this time.
It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is not effort without error and shortcomings; but who does actually strive to do the deed; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly. i've picked up in gaming exactly where I left off in January--Playing Darksiders 2
The problem with the gene pool is that there's no lifeguard

ok so now I've gone back to Civ V and I noticed I actually have Gods and Kings, just never noticed or something. So I gave it a try. I blinked and now it's 5 hours later... heh. That game still has it.

The new civ 5 expansion is out... I'm not sure if I should be happy or worried.

Just bought 7 Grand Steps. It is very board game like, the concept is remarkably simple, and while the ever-repeating steps and graphics can get on your nerve, I really like the gradual process. It's not a game you'll play 7 straight hours, it is too repetitive for that, but it is of the type where you go "one more turn before dinner" good.

Plague, Inc.

Just ate up the better part of an hour evolving my little bacteria to destroy the world. Fairly straightforward, basically the same as Pandemic 2 and similar, but fun to play on the phone. :whistle:

Gonna set up the xbox today as ive just moved into my new place. Given the rave reviews for witcher 2 im a bit meh about it. It plays like mgs 2, an interactive cutscene where the action is good just in short supply. Ive only just left the first village though so maybe it perks up a bit.

Ive still got darksiders 2, farcry 3 and prototype 2 aswell as the alway popular dark souls replay which ill be doing as a warrior not a mage this time.

Still playing CK2, I haven't touched another game in ages. The rate these expansions keep coming out I'll probably ended up sinking another 100+ hours into it, easy. Such a good game. :whistle:

Just finished Thomas Was Alone, which I got as part of the absolutely ridiculous Indie Humble Bundle sale (11 top-class games for the price of whatever you feel like).


Fabulous game. It's wonderful how a well-told story (with quality music) can inject anything - even a basic rectangle - with personality. You really begin to sub-consciously play in ways you would imagine the block you're controlling at the time would behave.

Just moved house, so no games for about two weeks now.

Thinking about firing up the PS3 to finish up Darksiders, or maybe a return to Demon's Souls.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Started playing darksiders 2 and it took me till the end of the training to notice this is essentially prince of persia with death instead. Wikid the plot for the first game and it seems quite good. Enjoying a nice easy gaming experience like an arcade dark souls

Finally got around to playing Mirror's Edge.... fantastic game.
The problem with the gene pool is that there's no lifeguard

My little girl sits with me and acts as my spotter for what to kill and my navigator when I'm driving or trying to move through terrain & landscape sometimes. It's very touching. I'm not sure if she prefers Halo or Borderlands, the "monster dogs" & giant lobsters are her favorites.

Checking out Witcher 2 Dark Mode. Midway through Act I now and I've obtained the full first special item set. It's awesomely cool. Also, gives you a nasty gfx/sfx effect when you unsheathe the weapons. Very cool. You can still die in 2 seconds to a Nekker, though... so game's still cool :p

....Aaand, I finshed Mirror's edge. Brilliant game, that suffers from tacked-on combat sequences.

Not sure what to play next. Think I'll give Amnesia a spin.

Minecraft PvP, the Walls. Unfortunately either my internet sucks or there are a lot of bugs in the server. I only got to finish one game, and was quickly finished at that by the guy throwing eggs at me. Sigh.
