Hey folks, same thing as before - bring your own booze/culinary requirements or whatever.
Usual venue, Mal and Hetan's place near Cambridge - date will be Saturday July 9th.
Anyone who wants to come and hasn't been before, pm for address or whatever. :)

Last year was epic - let's make this one even more so.

I'll chuck some money aside in a box for this!

Also you need to build a fence for the pond.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I'll be there.

I think a wall would be better if you want to keep macros out of the pond.

Already had the time set aside, I might be recovering from some major sunburn from visiting Turkey a week or so before, may need the pond to cool down my skin ;-)

Yay! Count me in - only Eyjafjallajökull could keep me from flying to UK on that particular Saturday. :)

Hoping to make it..depends on weather or not my parents feel like having me over for the holidays.

Last year was too much fun to miss out again :) Plus it sounds like there will probably be a proper amount of South Africans at the BRAAI :)

I'm a maybe.
Now before people try and get all medieval on my non-committal reply, its a maybe with 2 quite large reasons.
1. sister is moving to Sierra Leone in July, I'm not sure when her leaving party will be.
2. far more importantly, funds need to be managed more carefully this year as the rally starts just 3 weeks after said BBQ

but its a maybe that's swaying on the side of possibly yes rather than possibly no. I'll get on to the sister and get a few more dates and times form her, then get back.
it might be the situation of shes already out of london and I'll have to do the horrid fly in on saturday morning jump on a train schtick.

My name's down for that! If only to see whether Mac can find something else to dress up in :)
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. I'm up for it (if nothing comes up in between)

It's sad that I had to miss it last year, but thankfully my niece is doing much better now.

Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

I'm in.

No, seriously, NZ -> England JUST FOR THIS*. Going to be so damn epic. Can't wait to meet all of you, and have you mock my kiwi accent. XD

*well, strictly speaking there's a two-and-a-half week holiday split on either side of it, but still...

It seems so close as to be bizzare not to. Yet it's apparently three hours away by train!?!?! Why on earth do they have to go via London?

I am so in I can't think of an appropriate analogy to use for simile purpose. But when I do think of one, that's how much I'm in.

Cyphon, where you training from? Surely there's an easier bus/coach route or something

And Maccy, don't pussy out on us, this could well be the year when the bull's penis finally materialises, and you wouldn't wanna miss that
