Great time was had as usual.

Best moment Mezla running screaming after a teenager in the street demanding his cow suit followed by mezla trying to dress macros in a cow suit.

The bucket of ice was also funny. Though that bucket of ice must have had magic powers... the only person drinking alcohol who appeared to be really suffering from the aftereffects was mezla, and she was the only one not to put her head in the ice. Coincidence? I think not. It even managed to counteract the effects of a quarter of a bottle of aquavit on hetan.

Thanks to Hetan and Mal as always, and Fid for his sterling work at the BBQ.

The cow suit! I had forgotten about making George's friend strip in the street! I wore Bill's waders too. A night of many costume changes. I'm going to bed at 9.30 in the vain hope i'll be human in time for work tomorrow. I'm too old for this shit

Huge shout out to Hetan and Malaclypse - you guys are the awesomest of awesome dudes. Hetan's demonstration of her Barghast lineage and no fear for Omtose Phellack was humongous - finishing the bottle of akevitt (and thus saving me and forcing me to tamely open the Laphroaig)and then braving the icy warren of iced beer bucket for many seconds and bringing her clan with George and mates - including the wearer of the cow suit - who kept it on for a couple of hours - they livened things up and were also ensnared in Macros' drinking games - my first good decision was opting out.

Some very special people as ever - Alt146 and AltGF - introduced us to Dusty Gilbert as well as being full participants in the event - as were Mr & Mrs Paleman - loved the biltong and Mrs Paleman helps us feed the masses. Sadly for chickens Illy shows no signs of abating - think he consumed about a pallet full. Macros and Toby were there usual stereotypical selves of course, arriving semi-hungover but with the stamina of bhederin - until the morning anyway. Sadly Dag and Stone Monkey had an early start to get to Croatia so left early but we are so glad you were there - and as Silencer left with them, he missed out on some of the wilder moments - but we respect his technical accomplishments even if only 2 other people can understand him. Mezla was as charming as ever - and then the alcohol kicked in- but some great singalong moments especially Rumours. Cougar failed to make the starting line for the British GP this morning so the artist formerly known as Eekwibble had to settle for my iPod selection - so he slept until Springsteen came on after about 2 hours and I assume he eventually got home.

The photos will take a while and I will need to upload them somewhere first. We shall have to see about creating a slideshow as well. And of course the salmon recipe for those that have requested it.
