Right now I see

Kalse being defending by Barhast and

Hood's Path pointing out town roles, thus being connected to Rashan.

I guess it is a question of how many scum are in this game. I think that 4 would be about right. Two different sets of spy's perhaps.

Not that I necessarily agree, but I can follow your logic for Kalse, Barghast, and HP, but how exactly did you figure Rashan to be scum as well?

And welcome back Osseric. Feel free to catch us up with our beer count :)

Edit: And Rashan as well!

I don't know if he is scum or not. Just that HP was referring to his post earlier. I actually haven't seen anything that would make me suspicious of our power shortage friend. Who I hope is far away from the radiation winds.

I didn't say I spotted a finder, I don't think a real finder would be so obvious. I said maybe scum would want us to think he was a finder and be left alone, as Liosan says. And you call it WIFOM, then turn the same thing around at me. Feeling defensive?

Also "thus being connected to Rashan" ??? What's that have to do with it?

See the post above yours for clarification.

Actually no I am not feeling defensive at all. I think that I am starting to see some patterns and push some buttons. Which is the only way that things happen. What you said is WIFOM. I'm not strawmaning or turning it around on you. You are thus connected to Rashan because you were directly answering his post with your WIFOM post. That is the connection nothing more. Unless there is something more. Which I doubt.

Editted to add clarity.

@ Korabas - OK

I'm trying to review today's action and comment on things that catch my attention.

Ok I'm here for all of one minute. I can't say to much about the fener lynch other then what has already been said. I didn't figure that Fener was D'rek, although if I remember right she said that she didn't really have time to play. But the lack of any defense from her or from anyone else. I suppose that at least one person would have known who she was. But I could be mistaken. When i get time I am going to look at the train. Right now agree with Omtose that GL is acting like a symp. I am just not sure for whom yet.

The Madame was a syndicate player, I thought only scum symps know someone who is on their team in a town versus scum game. Why do you think that possibly someone on the syndicate team would know who she was?

Good question, Rashan. Is he trying to suggest there's a Finder, maybe he's one (don't think he voted for Fener), or is he scum trying to make us think that so we leave him alone? He's pretty low-posting, though he's explained it I think

Just so that you don't try to say that I am trying to take your words out of context. Now tell me that the above sentence isn't WIFOM. It has all of the characteristics of WIFOM you are suggesting two completely different things either one of which could be possible. I agree that no where do you say that I a finder. But I didn't say that you did. I said that you were pointing out town roles. Which you potentially could be. Now the only people who want to create needless WIFOM or point out potential town roles would be scum. Thus you are included in my list and as you were responding to Rashan I included him as a thus. Thus is a good word. I don't feel that it gets enough usage.

Me too. But I am about done and have to go. I doubt that I will be back on to change my vote. As it happens based off of Barghast's reaction I am perfectly happy with leaving it where it is.

wow, log back on and 3 people followed my vote in quick succession. tha'ts...interesting.

Of the votes. Kalse's is pretty iffy... (see what I did there?)

I am ok with Merrid's vote.

Gaylord's vote seems like something I made him do. I wasn't pushing for a Omtose vote... just that votes are a good thing.

Another interesting thing is the Korabas vote on Kalse. While Idon't disagree with the principal of the vote... it looks somewhat like deflecting. But, truth be told, after that deluge of Omtose votes, any non Omtose vote would look like deflection. So i am willing to let that go.

Well you condemned the first four people on the Fener train, but you were number five. Now you started one on Omtose but you question all the people that follow behind you. Omtose's last post was slighlty defensive, but he doesn't seem worried that it will go through in time.

Regardless, it seems that public opinion is against Omtose. I will be away when this day is ended in a little while, so I'm going to

Vote Omtose

I wouldn't hammer on the case in front of us, but I will lend my support. If anything better comes along, there's still a good chance it won't happen.

By contrast, Kalse's posts look fairly consistent... he is spamming on Day 1, settles on Merrid for a vote (is against the Fener vote, I believe). He agree's with Omtose's early vote... but now he's on Omtose's butt. He only mentioned Korabas once, for the same reason I posted above... Korabas indicated he wanted to vote but didn't do so.

Where are you leaning at the moment? I am not married to my Omtose vote, and he HAS been consistent with his post time, but I am not seeing much else as vote worthy from others...

Not sure what time we have left but as of the time I left the thread, my Korabas vote was the one I liked the most.

This is a brutal week for me. I was very hesitant to play in this game. In retrospect if I had known how busy I was going to be I would have passed. But I didn't so I am trying to read up and post when I can. As for basing people's defense on some kind of posting consistency I feel that thinking like that is indicative of a small mind. :)

As for deflecting I think that I would have to be on and posting a lot more to be doing any deflecting. I feel that there is some railroading going on. I also love how I voted for Kalse, and Barghast come up and attacked me. Well if that isn't the definition of what a symp is suppose to do for a master then I don't know it. After Barghast's posts I feel more confident. After all Kalse had been on and replied to my vote. Why does Barghast need to come on and both attack me and defend him.

Anyway off for a bit.

Why would I defend a guy from a single vote that already looks like it's symping Omtose?

Well, I feel perhaps now is a good time to also remind everyone that Fener did cast her vote for HP.

While it was ostensibly due to him having just got his copy of tCG, as Madame Marichord, I don't think it's implausible that she may have been a finder or possessed some such similar ability (I was not earlier aware that in spycraft you could find during the day) that would have allowed her to identify HP as scum and thus (you're welcome) voted him for that reason, which she could not have openly admitted to, and therefore used the tCG bit as a pretext.

Of course, HP could then argue that were that the case and she was certain he was scum, she would have made a much stronger case for lynching him, though considering her almost complete lack of self-defense, that really wouldn't be an argument that would hold much strength.

@ lio i dont know, when your down and knw your gonna get lynched you tend to give out all the info you have. remember the reveal from the last game? i think it was korabas. (in the previous game!)
even if you have lost interest and cant be bothered, if you have concrete evidence on someone you post it in thread and say its concrete evidence.

Feners vote on HP was just a joke vote IMO

Well who do you see as scum?

Your vote on Ampleas is doing nothing,

I am out until well after lynch soon. I might be willing to switch my vote if we have reason.

This post makes no sense and looks like someone who just wants a Lynch. I didn't condem the first 4 ppl on the Fener train. I said Osseric and HP's votes were suspicious. Then you come on and throw a vote like this... Scumdar is pinging.

That was what I initially thought, but inlight of the previous conversation, I'm not so sure. And than, during our discussion of whether he is or isn't scum, HP turns around and votes Omtose, a move that seems intended to shift the discourse away from him again. It is certainly suspicious.
