Ok I'm here for all of one minute. I can't say to much about the fener lynch other then what has already been said. I didn't figure that Fener was D'rek, although if I remember right she said that she didn't really have time to play. But the lack of any defense from her or from anyone else. I suppose that at least one person would have known who she was. But I could be mistaken. When i get time I am going to look at the train. Right now agree with Omtose that GL is acting like a symp. I am just not sure for whom yet.

The Madame was a syndicate player, I thought only scum symps know someone who is on their team in a town versus scum game. Why do you think that possibly someone on the syndicate team would know who she was?

I'll have to look back on the train. I completely missed the whole sympage thing by GL. Though this whole game GL has been putting up strange posts. I'm not sure if he is trying to put up code for people to figure out but it sure seems like it. Obviously I haven't cracked it yet but as soon as I do I'll let everyone know.

Damn, hasty votes never pay. I knew I shoulda held back. On her second posting stint wish D'rek woulda put up some kind of angry rant...that usually is a good way to get early nonsensical trains derailed. oh well, I am sure our job is just harder now. Tempted to vote for Merrid after my original suspicion.

Also, not sure on the GL/Amp connection. Something is strange about Gay lord he got caught out kinda early and just rolled with it. not sure what to make of that.

I'm surprised too that Fener didn't at least say SOMETHING if she was that important...like you said, even a half-assed rant would have probably at least given people some pause before letting the train roll out. I guess it could just be RL complications but I find it strange.

If you are going to look back at the beginning of the train, the relevant posts for it's initiation are between #130(ish)-143

To summarize: At the behest of Liosan to end the ongoing spam and actually start doing some mafia stuff, I asked Amp, who was spamming with me at that time, if he wanted to help vote out one of the 3 players who had not yet posted before they could do so (Omtose, Fener, and Rashan). Amp decided on Fener, and, since this was at my behest and it was only day 1, Fener was about as good a choice as Omtose or Rashan would have been, plus there was actually some justification, admittedly flimsy for an actual lynch, but for a joke vote entirely sufficient, for voting Fener due to the alt's past history (which has already been discussed at length). Very shortly thereafter, Osseric joins in and votes Fener, as does HP not long after that.

So, while Omtose has clearly decided this is an act of sympage, all I have to say is that it wasn't, for reasons that should be extremely obvious to anyone reading through those aforementioned posts. I mean, why the hell would I not go along with the joke vote that I helped instigate?

Anyways, I could potentially get behind an Amp vote, though not because of this perceived sympage (or the lack thereof), but rather due to him being the one to suggest we vote Fener out, though the day is still young...

I am w/ Omtose a little here on Ampelas, although it seems more "sloppy" than "code" to me. All of Ampelas's typos are a bit annoying... he missed 4 vowels and typo'd the word "for" (although that's more forgivable).

Actually, of those first four votes I find Osseric and HP's to be the most suspect. They took what was basically a joke train, and turned it into an actual train. Regardless of if it was a joke or not, anyone that has played mafia more than a couple times knows that on day one, players are like dried wood doused in gas...one little spark and Boom! you are lynched. Both of those 2, under the guise of "joke voting" jumped on that train ...and boom went Fener. I find that suspicious.

Another thing to consider is that a lot of the animosity toward Ampelas is geared toward the fact that he posts a lot. Ampelas and GL aren't really responsible for railroading Fener. They started it, but all Day 1 trains start somewhere. It's the people that turn it into a train that are the most suspicious and Osseric filled that role nicely. He has the fewest posts of people left in the game and hasn't offered more than this vote for Fener and an eventual "meh" reaction to it, later.

He also accused Omtose of being a noob.

Omtose seems really geared on getting rid of Ampelas because of GL's supposed symping..I cannot make up my mind about this. Either they're counting on us dismissing their "symping" due to how obvious it is, or there's really nothing there.


Barghast has also displayed some questionable behaviour, and convinced a total of three people to jump on board the lynch-train, and now he wants to lynch Osseric for suspicious voting.

This post by Rashan seemed to me like someone pushing for a lynch w/o actually pushing for a lynch. Making it seem like a case on Fener when...there was none. Also, who was the hammer on the Fener train...Rashan.

Actually, I don't remember the exact order of events, but there is a wee bit of a case to vote for Fener. He openly asked if he needed to read through the day one spam and when people were telling him not to he later admitted that he didn't read it. I don't know about you but if people in mafia told me not to read the thread, that would make me want to read it all that much more. I feel much better voting for someone for admitting that reading the thread is unimportant. versus voting for them because, HEY. YOU'RE UGLY.

Then there is Omtose. He gets really defensive, just because GL keeps mentioning him. This is actually really suspicious in my eyes. Normal syndicate wouldn't get so defensive.

as someone earlier pointed out, if you check my time stamps this is the time i get online (well about 1 hour ago, but i had to read through the spam and then my server crashed) so expecting me to appear simply because you miss me isnt going to happen.

I didnt vote for fener because i thought it was ridiculous to get a train running so quickly for absolutley no reason, when he showed up and didnt bother to read the past few pages, that was daft and maybe that warrented lynching but the original votes built up way to quickly. Especially GL after the Amp vote, looked like sympage from GL for Amp.

I am low posting at the moment, because there was very little on the thread that was worth replying to. Its nearly all spam.

My works having server problems (ive had to retype this in wordpad because i lost my original post and didnt want to lose it twice) but Ill try to be more active today if we get some posts that are more mafia related.

Finally, this post seemed filler like. As far as I know, he never came back and looked at the train. He seems to be waiting to see which way the mob is jumping.

Clearly they aren't all spies. These are just some things I found scummy in my skim through. I am most suspicious of Omtose, Osseric and Korabas at the moment. I'd be willing to vote for Osseric, but I think I am more inclined to vote Omtose. He was barely on, when he did come on he got very defensive over a tiny bit of attention, padded his post count with spam and vanished.
