Well, talking about disturbing conversations, A lady came up to me in the super market I work in and asked me where the sugar free cereal was. I was bewildered for a moment and asked her if she meant organic cereal and pointed at various organic grain products, but she was adamant, she was looking for our sugar free cereal. Sugar free oatmeal in fact. I tried pointing out to her that plants consist mainly out of carbohydrates. Plants ARE sugar. You can't have plants with out sugar in some form. (Well, okay I am sure there are crazy jungle plants out there that are made out of silicone or beef or something, but). She didn't believe me so I began to explain to her how photosynthesis work and and she got angry and told me not to patronise her and stormed off.

At my college at uni I once tried to explain to the cleaning guy that, no, humans had not in fact landed a space-craft on the sun.

He left unconvinced.

It's probably from an add by a firm that organises trips where physically/mentally handicapped people can swim with dolphins, either in the tropics or in a Sea World, as apparently anyone who does it gets real positive vibes from it - and purely judging from the shape of his face, I think the guy may be suffering from Down Syndrome - in that context, I'd say the pic might actually be more endearing than creepy.
